"Good value for the money"

A very good hotel that delivers for the value. Clean rooms with good size and exellent service. Very appropriate for short business trips. Minus: The hotel do not have free parking. There are limited and expensive puiblic parkings outside and the hotels garage is also expensive and a little cumbersome to use. Limited eating sites around the location, exept if you are into Burger King, then this is the place.

"Business traveller"

I selected the hotel due to its location and because I had experienced the IBIS Hotels as good value for the money and providing all what is needed for a short term business stay. The hotel prooved to be was what I had hoped for: Simple, but well designed rooms, very clean, quiet (even though located at a busy road), a good bed, very good service, good breakfast and everything well maintained and in good working order.If you want to have a good stay and do not need the luxury of a high end chain this is a very good choice. My next stay will be there again.

"Excellent as always"

This was my second stay at the IBIS AMSTERDAM CITY WEST and I didn`t doubt to choose it when planning my visit to Amsterdam. It keeps its good conditions as Hotel, and I always admire the bathroom, very convenient as a module. The only feature would be the high cost of the breakfast , 15 euros and worst is that there is no place nearby to have something to eat ( breakfast ). Although it`s not in the center, it has very good connections by bus and to the airport thanks to the efficient public transportation and in the front desk they sell the daily transportation ticket for 7.2 euros which includes also Metro and trams.

In general the hotel is a nice place to stay in Amsterdam for a couple of days if you travel by car. The room size is a typical one for Ibis hotel family (not big, not small). In my opinion the main advantage of any ibis hotel is the bed that is extremely comfortable! You sleep as a child in it! The breakfast was pretty expensive (18 EUR), but the variety and quality of food offered didn't meet my expectations. The omelette looked well but it tasted like a piece of paper. To summarize, ibis amsterdam city west is a good choice to stay in the city for the money you pay.

Love the breakfast there. And enjoy the free wifi in the room. location is not that bad, nearest metro station is only 5min walk, bus station <1 min walk. I've been there 3 nights. enjoy my double bed with medium stiffness mattress.

Good faccilities, very friendly staff, good breaksfast, looks like new. the location is not in downtown but is very easy take the bus and go to city (10min). Th hotel provide a map, bus ticket and bus time schedule. Amsterdam is very beautiful. You need ggo there!

"Good value for money"

As far as budget hotels go, this satisfied the main criterias of being fairly clean, bar on site, free wifi and parking outside the hotel. Staff were fairly pleasant. The hotel was fairly far out from the centre and taxis cost roughly 20 euros each way therefore having a car is ideal

This hotel is located close to the Bus station, 10 minutesaprox to Central Station, the hotel have parking available with previus booking if you are traveling with car, 15Euro per day, also have a Burger King in the lobby, personnel friendly. breakfast normal. I could return to use this hotel during a next visit to amsterdam.

"Bad service"

Service was bad, bathroom pipping was damged. Complained on the first day about it and nothing was done for three days. Would never go back.

"Clean and calm hotel"

I spent here two nights on business trip.Room was not very big but sufficient, bathroom was small but perfect clean. Nights were absolutely calm and I enjoyed to sleeping there. Free Internet WiFi (ask the reception staff for login account) was a bonus.Breakfast was basic but not bad, but significantly overpriced. Breakfast area was crowded some days. There is Burger King in the hotel neighborhood as an option. But it opens late: at 9:00.Very good accessibility by metro – just 5 minute walk (but metro line does not direct to the center).

key plan to reach the property will be appreciated. In other ibis properties -they are lending electric adapters, but here the same is sold. this could be possibly avoided. other wise the stay is okay for us, because the rooms are not that much spacious.

We stayed at this hotel because we didn't want to be close to the crowded and noisy city center. The rooms and bathrooms are very clean and quite. It is good connected to the city center (metro and tram or a bus) (around 30 minutes). The area is clean and safe but you do not have a lot of restaurants around. The staff was friendly.

Very clean, modern hotel, and more impressive than recent stays at (less modern) Novotel hotels even. A 10-15 min bus ride from central Amsterdam, but right off the highway, with easy access to public transport which takes you right to the main station. Good value for the price.
