ibis budget Amsterdam Airport (previously ETAP HOTEL): 4.0 out of 5 stars "Goed budgethotel tegen schappelijke prijs."

10th February 2013, servatius, netherlands

We always stay in Ibis budget Hotel before a long flight. No problems with train delays and you start your trip fresh. The rooms are basic but everything you need is there. Tv, wifi, hot shower, good box spring bed, toilet and al very clean.I think it is a good room for the price you have to pay.Only suitable for bed and breakfast because the rooms are small.

ibis budget Amsterdam Airport (previously ETAP HOTEL): 4.0 out of 5 stars "Good value for money"

Simple hotel with friendly staff. Stayed there because I had an early flight out of Amsterdam. Clean room. Good beds. Everything you need. Warm meal you can get at the ibis hotel next door, breakfast availabel from 5am. Airport transportation on time. Can recommend this.

ibis budget Amsterdam Airport (previously ETAP HOTEL): 2.0 out of 5 stars "Ibis budget Amsterdam"

3rd January 2013, ninak23, Brussels, Belgium

The receptionists at the front desk were nice. The rooms however were a bit worn down, the walls had some stains and the sheet had a little tear. Furthermore, the shower smelled really unpleasant and the sink in one of the rooms didn’t work properly (it took a long time for all the water to flow down the drain). The breakfast was basic, not bad but for 7 euro’s it could have been a bit better. There were no plates, just cups! So basically you had to put your cheese and ham on the tray, not really comfortable. It’s more a place for young people who are looking to travel cheaply. The hotel parking is not free, the first 4 hours are free and after that each additional hour is 75 cents. But considering that parking in Amsterdam is terrible expensive, this isn’t so bad. Anyway, I was a bit disappointed because after staying at Ibis budget in Reims, France (really clean and pleasant!), the expectations were a bit higher! All and all not too bad, but not really great either. For the same price it must be possible to find something more authentic and clean. Maybe the prices were high because of the holiday season…

ibis budget Amsterdam Airport (previously ETAP HOTEL): 4.0 out of 5 stars "Okie"

8th November 2012, reachsimon, Leeuwarden

Bathroom and toilets are very small. it does not have locks as well. The hotel has convenient shuttle from schiphol airport and value for money. Good for short stay. Check-in starts exactly starts at 12 hr and not even 5 minutes before. this is horrible.

ibis budget Amsterdam Airport (previously ETAP HOTEL): 4.0 out of 5 stars "Great night sleep!!"

28th September 2012

the room was just the perfect. clean, comfortable and the location was just right. the shuttle bus to schiphol and back was really convenient and prompt! Great hotel!his hotel is very much a basic one without frills or any pretence of luxury. It is situated by its sister (and more expensive) Ibis at the northern perimeter of Schiphol airport (from which there is a free shuttle bus). Both are in a somewhat isolated location with nothing much of interest within walking distance (except the runways and a McDonalds nearby!).The rooms are very basic but the one I used was clean and functional. There is a double with a single bunk located about it. The wash basin is actually in the bedroom, rather than in a separate bathroom, with only a shower set into the wall.Breakfast is extra and rather limited in its offerings, but there is no restaurant or bar (only vending machines). Dinner etc. can be obtained next door at the Ibis, but beware of high prices for very mundane food. Drinks are also expensive - 6 Euros for a beer, for example, which is outrageous.Staff were efficient enough if not very friendly or smiling in their attitude. As this is no doubt used by people travelling in or out of Schiphol rather than on holiday, it serves its purpose well enough and is probably the cheapest place to stay in the airport area..

ibis budget Amsterdam Airport (previously ETAP HOTEL): 4.0 out of 5 stars "Perfect for an ungodly early flight"

10th August 2012

Not so perfect was the difficulty of getting to the city center. There are multiple bus lines nearby, but we had some navigational issues getting there. The free shuttle to the airport is the easiest way; just take the train from there. These rooms are small and basic, but very clean and comfortable. Plus, the price can't be beat.

ibis budget Amsterdam Airport (previously ETAP HOTEL): 4.0 out of 5 stars "short stay"

27th July 2012, Paul_microlightflyer, Ilkley, United Kingdom

Short overnight stay with my son & his friend - excellent value for money. Room clean & tidy, but with limited space for 3 people - so you need to be good friends or it will need to be a very short stay ! Will certainly use this hotel again. Good regular shuttle service to & from Schipol airport. Best budget hotel in Amsterdam.

ibis budget Amsterdam Airport (previously ETAP HOTEL): 4.0 out of 5 stars "A good value"

12th July 2012, Kansas City, Missouri, USA

The room was small but quite functional and clean. Staff were friendly and helpful and the free shuttle to the airport was good. Also, there was free wifi which was a plus.
