"Good hotel but let down by technology"

A well situated and easy to find hotel with helpful staff. Unfortunately the booking-in machine was faulty and guests had to phone to get help (which arrived fairly soon) Some potential guests went away to find alternative accommodation as they couldn't get in. The free WIFI was great, but the Etap website won't work on my laptop browser so it was not possible to book ahead - the internet pc at reception did not work either !!

We visited Concarneau for the festival, and chose Etap hotel mainly for the price and location. It was a good walk to the centre of town, but as there was free parking on the Saturday at the station, this wasn't a problem. On the big day, Sunday, the centre was closed but the town laid on a free shuttle from Lidl just around the corner from the hotel. We watched an amazing 2hr procession representing Celtic culture. Pipe bands, dancers ,with whole families aged from 0 to 90 all in regional dress joining the parade.The enjoyment went on all day.. We retired to the comfortable, clean rooms at Etap ready for another peaceful night, the double glazing is excellent-the lift a bonus. Would have liked some shower gel though. Ann Kay
