"Convenient budget hotel in the center of Colmar"

Quite comfortable, clean and quiet room, very friendly personnel, excelent hotel location, easy access to free internet (WiFi). All Colmar sightseeings as well as train staition could be achieved by food within 5-10 min.

Everything is exactly same as advertised. Room is clean and basic. Close to historic center. İndoor parking is 7 euro for day. There are food and drink automats at lobby. Washbasin is in the room. If these are enough for you, Etap Hotel Colmar is a great choice; If you are looking for nice decoration, large room not

Clean rooms in a reasonable location. Also has rooms that can accommodate three people, so good for families and takes pets. Easy walking distance from the old town. Underground parking means that you cannot park if you have a roof box on your car. Good value overall

The hotel is a good option for a cheap stay near the historical center of Colmar and relativly near the train station (approximativly 10 minutes walk). As you may expect with Etap Hotel, the accomodation is basic but suffisant. I will definitivly recommand that hotel for a budget traveler
"Good value - very close to the Unterlinden museum"

Although the room was the basic budget formula (double bed with bunk above and spartan furnishings) that is common to the Etap chain, I was pleasantly surprised by this hotel. The breakfast room was not hurried and there seemed to be a staff presence in reception well beyond the hours Etap normally suggest - so I didn't need to do battle with their automatic check-in system. It is the location of the Colmar hotel that makes it such good value - although it is on quite a heavily trafficked street (part of the inner ring road) it is less than ten minutes walk from the Unterlinden museum and there are a number of goods brasseries/wistuben very close by that are frequented by locals rather than being tourist traps.

I asked for a room on the backside of the hotel, because the frontside is along a busy cityroad.It was not possible, the reception said. It was full. Okay, when this is so. But I was earlier than all others, reception was still closed, before 5 hours p.m, and later I did not see or hear anybody. I still do not believe the statement of not possible. I am sure, it was, because I was early and alone.
