"OK, but Location not good"

We arrived early Sunday evening, the hotel was situated on an industrial/office park. We were tired and hungry but there was nothing open apart from a McDonalds which apparently was nearby but we did not find it - after driving all day we just wanted something within walking distance plus when I go away a McDonalds is the last place I want to eatHowever saying that it was clean comfortable and the young gentleman at the reception was very helpful. This was the first Etap I had stayed in, the 2nd one in Houdemount, Nancy was in a better location so it has not put me of

The hotel was the usual standard for an Etap in the quality of the room - clean, comfy beds and good shower. With the temperature at 35' and humid, it was a pity that the air con was not working, although the chap on reception did tell us on arrival. The receptionist was not engaging and did not give us any info on time for breakfast but swiftly went back outside to finish his cigarette and conversation.The location of this hotel was surrounded by offices and industrial units and there didnt appear to be any restaurants within walking distance.

We found the Etap to be adequate for our needs. Luxury, it is not. The rooms are small, but have a comfortable bed, small desk/chair, and a bathroom with shower. The hotel was perfectly located for our departure from Lyon. The reception staff was friendly and helpful, There is a restaurant on site, which made it easy for us to arrive late in the day, have dinner and pack without having to search for a place to eat. There is free parking in the back of the hotel. The airport is only about 15 minutes away, and no commuter traffic.

Hotel is just a few hundred yards from the main road, has a secure car park and is clean and quite. There is nothing to do there in the evening and as we stayed on a Sat night in Feb there was no restaurant open there or anywhere nearby that we could find.Lady on the desk was very helpful, the rooms were clean and we all sleep well,
