Our experiences during this stay at IBIS Guarulhos were similar to our numerous previous stays at this hotel. The room met all of our needs and was well cleaned. The low position of the TV made it awkward to view from bed and we suggest that it be positioned about 1.5 m higher from the floor. We found the staff at the reception and in the restaurant to be competent, friendly and helpful. The food in the restaurant was good and provided for a variety of tastes. The self service arrangement was practical and service for water or beer was reasonably prompt. As in many hotels we considered the bottled water overpriced. For us the taxi drivers at the IBIS point were extremely important given our desires to frequently go to nearby locations such as Shopping Internacional and our sense that that area of Guarulhos may not be entirely safe at certain times of day. We were served by a total of four different taxi drivers and all served us very well for local, longer range and airport trips. We enjoyed chats with most of them. In summary another satisfactory, enjoyable and practical stay.
