"No Free Internet !!!"
14th September 2013, ShayShafat, Tel Aviv, Israel
All reasonable except that there is no Free Internet ! In 2013 Without Free Internet is like without electricity ! For the city of Berlin the cost of the breakfast is very expensive & in a half price you can get a very nice breakfast nearby !
"Short stay in Berlin"
14th July 2013, souffleboy, Port Macquarie, Australia
At first look it seemed like it was in a run down area but hotel itself is in a decent location. It is located near a U-station so made access to public transport easily. Easy walking distance to many other parts of Berlin if you enjoy walking. Single room was spacious and clean, bathroom was spacious and in good working order (and not one of those silly plastic plug in the wall ones). Receptionist (Claus I think) at the time was friendly and helpful. Only downside, no free WiFi. A big chain like Mercure could so afford its guest free WiFi. Otherwise, all good and would definitely be back next time in Berlin.

We had a lovely stay here, so close to the station and an interesting walk into the city centre. The weather was wonderful which hleped. Not many tourist bars or restaurants in the vicinity, but local ones were cheaper and friendly. The hotel was a nice size, but our room was smal for two to share, especially if you want to spend much time relaxing in your room, we used the courtyard area, bar and reception lounge to sit and chill. The staff were most helpful and welcoming. We would stay there again rather than in the more expensive city centre.
"Near to the centre, but nothing special, IBIS CITY WEST is better"
7th February 2013, tropolach, Bratislava, Slovakia
I stay 6 months before at Ibis City West in Berlin and I shall talk that this IBIS has the same quality as Mercure Hotel Berlin Mittle. Both are on the metro station and app. the same into the centre. Breakfast at IBIS are for 10€ Mercure 16€ The room are very very similar. At the Mercure there is net wifi for additional pay 9€/day, but very slow and permanently falling. At Ibis is net for 5€ and more good. If I will fo again I prefere more IBIS:
"Frindly service, nice room"
13th April 2012, elke_as, Duisburg, Germany
Everything fine: we had a very nice romm (Junior-Suite), enjoyed the friendlyness and the good service. Breakfast is not really cheap, but there was a good assortment of food (including fresh fruit salad, different yoghurts, sausages, eggs etc.) and beverage.

it is not Mercure I expected to see. Lower level than Ibis and I thought opposit.
