As a 3 star hotel is is quite good and good value. Only negative I found was the limited breakfast possibility, it was just adequate for my needs. I would rate that below average. Rest is really recommended.

"Good hotel with clean, spacious rooms"

Suite Novotel Paris La Chapelle is a good hotel with spacious and clean rooms. Excellent service and responsive staff add to this. The near by metro station is at walking distance and offers good connectivity. Do not be misguided by the words La Chapelle in the name. It is not near La Chapelle metro station which is near but a different place. There is no laundry service but common facilities are available within the hotel. I and my colleague stayed there first time and were highly satisfied. If you have need for a full fledged restaurant, this is not the right place to stay as there is no restaurant except a small place to take breakfast.

We enjoyed our hotel stay in Paris at the Novotel Suites Porte de la Chapelle, except for the fact that the Air conditioner never got cool the whole time we were there. I believe it needs some maintenance. We couldn't get it below 25 degrees and it was very humid and sticky. A part from that, we had a very nice time.

The hotel is excellent , staff are friendly , rooms are pritty cool, The only bad thing is the location which was not comfortable for me. a lot of homeless people in the nearby streets and 10 min walking to the metro station (Port De La Chapelle) last station in metro line 12. dont walk in this area after 9.00 pm.

Hotel is located farther from the metro station, I took around 5 minutes to the nearest Metro Station. Breakfast menu was standard and expensive.The positive thing is the availability of 24 hour internet access and on demand video for free (include in hotel price). A set price is very expensive, probably due to high session.

I Had one of the worst experiences in this hotel, after a long drive from london to paris I was looking forward for a good night sleep. went to bed at 11 pm half an hour later an extremely loud music was shaking the walls , the kids woke up and we couldnt sleep till 1 am when I went to reception to see what this is. the receptionist said it is from the next door building not from the hotel and he can not do anything about it. so I made the mistake of my life and I asked "then what? " He shouted at me saying " don't you understand, I told you it is not us" when I told him this is not acceptible he shouted again " well you can complain to the manager in the morning or call the police if you wish" !!!!! An extremely rude behaviour and very surprising to me particularly from an international chain of hotels not a local small motel. next day I requested to see the manager who asked me to write a complaint ,however, he did nothing nor appologised for his employee's behaviour. I would never stay in this hotel agian I wouldnt recommend it to anyone. Moreover, the hotel location is very bad, very heavy traffic and dodgy people, couldnt feel safe.

The hotel is about 500 m from the Porte de la Chapelle metro station. The bus is more convenient to Gare de l'Est. Rooms were clean, hotel was fine. Space was workable for two adults and 12/15 year old children.
