"Decent budget hotel opposite railway station"

I would recomend this hotel if you are using the station at Caen to travel around the area and is also a short 10 to 15 minute walk at steady pace into the centre area. There is also a transit system right outside the hotel which will take you into the centre too. I had a road facing room and there was only a very little amount of traffic noise, nothing that kept me from sleeping.

This hotel is situated next to a very busy train / tram station which obviously means this is a very noisy location. There are a few bars in the vacinity which seemed to attract people you wouldn't wish to mix with. The hotel doesn't have restaurant facilities attached and it is a long 15 minute walk to find a decent place to eat.
