The hotel needs some renovation- The carpets in the floors need to be changed. It stinks a bit. No plugs beside the bed. The breakfast is ok but there is not a good choice.

Stayed for 2 nights for the Berlin Half Marathon. The room was comfortable. The reception staff are very friendly and helpful. It was very useful being able to request a late check out so I could shower after the race before travelling back to the UK.

The location of this hotel is great. The twin beds were awful! The mattress topper was not secured to the bed in anyway, so in the night if you moved the whole mattress topper came with you. The mattress toppers were worn and provided no comfort, the bed was extremely hard. The pillows were awful! I asked for a number of extra pillows to find the best of a bad bunch. That and the temperature of the room meant little sleep was bad. You could here the aircon/fan but it was not adjustable whatsoever. Constantly playing around with the settings to get it to do something different. You have to choose if you want the window open or the nonexistent Aircon. Considering it was mid teens in April, I cannot imagine what it would be like in the middle of summer! The room was a decent size with handy amenities like a TV with BBC News channels, hairdryer. Only 3 plug sockets, two of which were right next to each others. The bathroom was a decent size also, including the shower, if you kept the shower doors open when not in use. Sadly, our toilet seat was broken and the lid was just left to one side in the bathroom when we arrived to our room. We had breakfast the one morning which was a good selection for a continental. It's was €17 as the price is not advertised anywhere, including in the hotel. The staff were friendly, check-in and out were quick and easy. They were able to provide extra amenities when needed, and we were able to leave our luggage at the hotel for a few hours.
