"UNEXPETED..!!"

A comfortable and great place to stay. Not far from anywhere. Breakfast is perfect. Staff very friendly. Only thing what visitors should keep in mind is the directions to reach from the airport. Do'nt depend on the tourist office instructions.

"Good place to stay, clean and for reasonable price"

Haven't had any issues during my stay at this property. It takes about 10-15min to walk to the metro station nearby and a bit longer (not too much) to the main sights in Vienna downtown. The only inconvenience is that there's no direct public transportation from the airport to this place. The train takes you to the metro, then you need to reach the right station, and then walk a bit. May be uncomfortable, if arriving at night and not familiar with the area - there's no clear reference (i.e. any major sight) around the hotel to find it easily. Still, would recommend for a stay. Very nice personnel, and the room was spacious and clean.

my room overlooked a metro line with trains going by all the time. it was somewhat difficult to sleep soundly with the window open. the hotel staff speak good english and were very helpful and kind to this old man. the breakfast was fabulous though the dining area tended to be rather crowded if you arrived 07.30 onwards. the lift could be cramped if 2 people had a lot of luggage. there is a supermarket nearby, ditto a metro staion 1 stop from the centre of vienna. the local traditional restaurants recommended by the staff were good though 1 was closed saturday and sunday. the taxi was to and from airport was pricey. the hotel provides an abundance of newspapers and plenty of tourist information plus free use of internet. 1 had a great time

I spent pone night here, the room was nice and clean, located on 7th floor. No noise was experienced, staff was friendly and always at your disposal. U4 metro station is 5-minute walk, thus easy to access downtown. Museum quarter is even in walking distance. I would choose this hotel again.

Service is good, value and clean. The only negative about this hotel is the location. Its about 2 blocks walk before you get to a Tram/metro station. Ibis Mariahilfer is a better choice in terms of public transport because the Tram stops right in front of the Ibis.

Adequate no frills hotel, clean, well located, pleasant, efficient, well equipped for any business or pleasure trip, had a nice stay! Would recommend without qualification and will surely soon return. Only shortcoming, easily overcome, no bicycle rack in underground parking.

"Viennese Welcome"

As always with Ibis hotels the hotel was immaculately clean, & with spotless crisp white cotton sheets, a great green idea has been adopted by Ibis that you are able to indicate by hanging label not to change your sheets every day & they will plant a tree. Our only gripe was that our duvet was a double, we were in a king-size bed & both tall so it was a little short, I’m sure though if we had complained it would have been immediately changed. The hotel decor is the same the world over but that doesn’t bother us, a lovely touch were the flower planters outside & all the dining tables had fresh flowers too. The breakfast was varied & very filling, the kitchen staff frequently replenishing the buffet. The receptionists were extremely helpful giving hints on where to go & explaining Viennese customs, also with booking of tours which included a hotel pick up. Another traveller complained it was a long walk from town & agreeably it was a 5 minute walk from the Metro, by purchasing a multi use transport card everywhere was easily accessible. We will continue to use the Ibis as you are always assured of a good welcome, clean accommodation & central locations.

Room is small but smartly decorated, very clean, fit with our needs, location is OK, 5 min. walking to metro station, close to centrum. Everything was OK what I expected from Ibis Hotels. I already knew but breakfast was not included and I dont like it, this is not a hostel.

This hotel is located conveniently in Vienna, close to many attractions. The directions provided by the hotel are a bit misleading, but once the hotel is found, it is a nice place to stay. The rooms are very clean and remarkably quiet, although main streets and the "U-bahn" (not underground there) are close by. The breakfast is recommendable. If you come by car, parking can be arranged; at night you can park your car without charge on the street. The subway is close by, and with the excellent subway system you can reach most places in Vienna in a short time.

Good location, especially that the hotel has a parking. Rooms not very comfortable, but quality/price ratio is very good.
