ibis Seoul Ambassador hotel

"Good value but not so great location"

It is a good value hotel, the location is about 10 - 15mins walk away from the nearest subway station. However, the airport bus stop is not right infront of the hotel, and there was no shelter, we will caught standing in the rain for 20 mins before the airport bus arrived...

"A perfect stay, especially for business traveller"

Perfect location as the airport bus station is just across the road. Staffs are fluent in English. But the room is small and dimly lit.

"A Perfect Ibis"

Ibis hotels are normaly located in less exclusive areas. Not the case of ths one. In a perfect location near COEX with very good facilities around and all the needed transportation. An Ibis is an Ibis so you will not have surprises but sometimes you can have Good ones and that is the case of Ibis Ambassador Seoul

"Hotel which is above the average"

Everything within the hotel is very good, and it provides free wifi so it's good for business trip. The disadvantage of this hotel is that it is not that close to the underground station, and so it is not easy if you are carrying a big suitcase. Apart from that, this hotel is still good for travel.

"IBIS Seoul Ambassador"

Breakfast is quite nice ..... Room heaters should be upgraded and get them working ..... Location is quite good near Metro Trsain Stations and also near the Aiport Buus pickups

"Ibis Seoul Ambassador is good for value"

The hotel is good for value , though the room is not big and location is little bit far away from major sight-seeing points. Room was clean, the servie was good and staffs were cheerful and helpful. It's convenient to have free shuttle from the Cuty Air Terminal to the hotel and the free shuttle service should be mentioned in the booking procedure. TICKET PRICE OF AIRPORT SHUTTLE SOLD AT THE RECEPTION COUNTER IN AMOUNT OF 15,000 WON, WHILE IT WAS 7000 WON WHEN YOU PAID ABOARD!!!!!

"Quiet environment and walking distance to COEX"

1. Quiet surrounding area with some nice small restaurant to choose from which range from Western to Korea and Japanese restaurant. Walk 10 minutes and you will reach COEX, an exhibition hall and shopping malls with more variety of foods.2. Room a bit small but I was out meeting client most of the time and back only about 8 for rest and sleep. So it doesn't really matter. 3. Staff can speak basic English so communication is easy.

"Room Space is not so good and no platinum service"

I only chose this hotel for using consecutive days on from 31st Dec to 3rd Jan.Space of room is just one person even the bed is duble so i did not satisfied with two person.I think i dont use this hotel again for couple.

"Clean & nice hotel"

Tho it's not close to Metro station, around 5 mins walk, but it's very convenient hotel with restaurants around & very clean & friendly staff. Was amazed by the morning pick up, as their shuttle bus service starts at around 7am, but they still willing to give special shuttle service for my 5am schedule ;-)Price is great with this clean & safe hotel

"Great for business at Coex"

Location is very good for Coex. The hotel provides a free shuttle bus between Korea City Air Terminal and the hotel. Sadly, I learnt about this once I had arrived. The room is quite small but comfortable. The breakfast is great. I would recommend this hotel to anyone looking for a reasonable price hotel within walking distance to Coex.

"IBIS KANGNAM"

Despite having a none smoking room at a non smoking floor the cigarette smoke is spreading into the room through the poor air-conditioning system. This is well known from management who recommend to"open your window" as a remedy LOL! It really bloody stinked the whole night.Alleluia for breakfast French baguette is available, and the "Viennoiseries" are really good...From a French point of view of course. The breakfast buffet seems to no proposed any fruit. I might had missed them, hidden with the kimchi may be?if you have no business to do in Kangnam better stay away from this hotel. Really really boring area after working hours and over the WE.

"Acceptable hotel at rather high price"

The hotel was easy to book through the Accor hotels website. The rooms are what you can expect from an Ibis hotel worldwide, the name Ibis Ambassador is a little misleading in that respect. The reception works efficiently, there is a small corner with PCs with free internet. On the first floor there is a bar and a restaurant which is serving breakfast, lunch and dinner. The rooms are clean, I had a double bed (slightly hard) of which the size was ok, there is a minibar and a small desk with free internet. The pre-fabricated bathroom had a shower, toilet and tub. The price including breakfast was to my opinion a little high for what you get.

"Okay stay if you don't ask much!"

Overall was okay if you don't ask much. In fact, we couldn't ask for much either.. There weren't enough towels in the bathroom, only offerred 1 extra pillow and there was no room service...we could not even ask for a fork/chopstick to eat our noodles. Location was okay despite a 5-8 mins walk from subway. Nice eateries around the hotel. Quiet and clean. Convenient as there was a direct airport shuttle to the City Airport Terminal (CALT) and the hotel provides free shuttle to CALT.
