You may be accustomed to more luxury, in which case you will be disappointed - however, realistically you cannot expect nor get better accommodation or service for the money you pay. I have stayed there half a dozen times and God willing will be returning. Very friendly, understanding and helpful staff, from GM down! Excellent location and easy to find! Each room equipped with individual shower, TV and A/C - and beds are firm and very comfortable. Also has own secure parking (€7 p/d) and Wi-Fi (€5 p/d). Charge for parking is OK (keep your vehicle & belongings safe & off the sun) but shame since other Etaps in Europe are no longer charging for Wi-Fi access.

The hotel is not in the city centre but is only 10 minutes on the bus away. The train station is around 20 minutes by bus. The hotel is close to a Carrefour supermarket and a McDonalds. The hotel is similar to most Etap hotels and is basic but is clean and has most facilities you need for a short stay - parking, close to public transport, wifi, vending machines, near to supermarket. Didn't have the breakfast there as the supermarket was so near. Reception staff were a bit rude on first arrival but did not need to have any further contact with them after check in. A special buffet was put on the nearby Ibis hotel when the Champions league final was on.

Stayed for 1 night at the end of March. Check in was a breeze, allowed to check in early which was very helpful for us. The receptionist was very helpful with local bus info to Granada & Alhambra. The room was clean and practical, expected of Etap standard. The mattress was very comfortable for deep sleep after a tiring day. Wonderful power shower, unlimited hot water. Very quiet despite located along a busy highway. The hotel offered secured underground parking for E5 per day but we parked in front of the hotel for free where I felt it was safe to leave my car overnight and could be seen from our room. Very cheap for £20-25 per night. re bus to city & alhambra - take a 155/156 bus (yellow & green) towards palacio congresso (E1.20). From there, walk to cathedral and catch alhambra bus or take bus no 3 or 1 (red bus) into the city centre and take the alhambra bus from there (bus 31-35). All in all 10-15 mins.
