"Rooms are VERY basic"

Although the hotel is in a good location, the rooms are very tiny. It is a decent hotel for 1-2 nights, that's all.If you're travelling with friends, be ready for a very small bed. 70cm / single bed. The mattresses are very thin and the beds very basic.

This was a very good hotel within walking distance of the Old Town and other tourist attractions. The staff were excellant, the food in the hotel was very good, the hotal was clean and the rooms were of a good standard. Would recommend this hotel to anyone.

"Solemn, sophisticated and special Visit"

Although the visit was short, we managed to cover all our points planned. Krakow provided us with a setting for a solemn visit especially to sites that require such a portage. Sophisticated since such sites are not accessible everywhere but are unique to Krakow. Special because I had long planned this trip and amidst the adverse weather conditions we managed to cover all.Within all this, hotel facilitated our stay and movement. Thank you!

Stayed at this hotel several times now found the hotel very central to what we do,ie, finding our way around krakow and all it has to offer.Our last trip here was for centerary of auschwitz and to visit schindlers factory/museum.We enjoyed our many ramblings out in the cold weather of poland and will definely visit again soon.many thanks to all the staff again.

The stay at Ibis, hotel located in the very centre of Krakow, was a huge surprise for me - I have not expected such excelent service in a 2star hotel. The staff was extremely helpful in the way you are treated in 5* hotels. Despite the fact that my room was located just next to the lift - it did not disturb the silence in the room, I slept really well. The room itself was a standard you can expect in Ibis hotels, nothing less, nothing more.The only thing that has potential for improvement is the cleanliness of the room. When entering the bathroom I met a little black something trying to hide underneath the shower...However I would strongly recommend this hotel - excellent service, great location, you won't find better value for money

It's Ibis, so you cannot expect too much, but having stayed in Ibis in Paris I was positivly supprised with the size of the rooms. You can actually walk around (not like in Paris). The breakfest was not cheap (for Polish standards), but very good (with exception of coffee which was horrible). The location is fine, a few minutes walk from the main touristic attractions, but the neighbourhood as such is not the nicest one. The Internet worked fine, the cleaning was ok. If you are focused on sighseeing it's a good place. For romantic get-aways not.

Clean room & quiet. Unfortunately, because of work, I was counting on having WiFi access in my room, but the connection was dropped repeatedly and very slow. I had to go to the lobby to get a more consistent connection, but this meant I was able to accomplish much less than hoped.Good choice within a reasonable walk to Wawel Castle and the Main Square. Clean and efficient. However, if you expect good connections to the internet, you may want to look elsewhere.

"50th Birthday in Krakow"

Stayed at the Ibis Hotel Krakow, it is closer to the main square than I thought, We had a good view of wawel Castle from are room on sixth floor. A two minute walk to the Vistula River then a nice walk along the river to the castle, then join Grodska street and walk that into the square. Good hotel, clean and friendly staff

I would like to thank Accor for Ibis hotels service. I stay in Ibis for several years already when I travel to different countries of Europe. It is an excelent budget stay option for a person like me who wants to have confortable room with all the needed conviniences, however does not stay in the hotel in the daytime, and so does not want to overpay for the stay.

Very hassle free. Multilingual staff. Great location near the Castle and transportation. Very reasonably priced. A refrigerator in the room would make this hotel perfect for the budget-minded traveler.

Stayed here for 2 nights. Good location about 10-15min walk from the main square and accessible on the number 2 tram but be aware that there is a main road between the tramstop and the hotel and you need to take the underground subway to get across. Breakfast and dinner in the hotel very good, staff very helpful. Beware if you book any local tours beware that they seem to get confused around location as this and the Novatel are back to back and they failed to pick me up from the IBIS reception because of this.

I wouldn't recommend this hotel to people travelling with little children. It is far from the old town, closer to Wawel. Many young people, teenagers staying there and it is just perfect for them. Service was average and so was the hotel room.

Having stayed in Ibis before this was a natural choice for me given the accepted standard at an affordable rate. To start with the booking form was easy which makes for a good start before leaving home. For the price the only penalty is the location if one is going for the sights however with this in mind we soon found an easy route to the city. having been let down by an independent company with taxi and excursion with my daughter to Aushwitz the staff in reception soon 'rescued' us and the following day we were on the trip which was spot on. Well done to the staff!

"good valu, very clean"

i thought the hotel was in a good location only 10 minutes walk from centre. The hotel was very clean and staff were very nice. The only thing was the bar. It wasnt a place you could have a few and relax at night. Not much of an atmosphere, but i think it was only a place to eat.

Hotel is well located close to all attractions. Rooms are clean. I would recommend this hoetl to all who want to be close to the center but pay reasonably amoount for the night.

We returned yet again to this gem of a low cost hotel. Excellent value as a bed and breakfast stay, 2 minutes from the river and 15 minutes walk to the old town (Rynek). Friendly staff giving a traditional Polish aspect to a (French) budget hotel. Free internet access.

I just stopped over for a night, arriving late and leaving early, as part of a long drive between Ukraine and England. Everything was fine, good location, easy to find, secure car parking, good dinner after 10 pm, nice service. The free internet did not work with my laptop for some reason, but I could buy an Orange card from Reception and connect that way. So, all in all, job well done.

An excellent value for money hotel. My only comment which does not effect my overall rating of this splendid hote, is that the lady at the reception was not friendly and helpful a t all when my wife went inside the hotel while I was waiting in the car outside to ask for the way to the garage. It is quite tricky to find the way to the garage. Other than that everything else was just perfect
