"Great Hotel"

We stopped overnight on our way to skiing in Filzmoos.It was easy to find with plenty of car parking. We had a very warm welcolme from the manager who was very helpful.The hotel is very close to good variety of restraunts & bars which is what you need after a long days drive.

This hotel is perfect for a one night stay, especially when arriving very late at night, as the check in system works perfectly. There was a very nice friendly lady serving breakfast in the morning, to set you up on your travels the following day.

Excelent hotel, better rooms now. In one world good hotel.BUT NEVER STAY WITH THE WINDOWS TO THE HIGHWAY, IT IS VERY, VERY BIG NOISE, EVEN WITH WINDOWS CLOSE.And it's anothher things who disturb me: I have a smoker room and the windows open 1/2 of capacity so the fresh air don't come proprely in the room, from security reseon motivate the hotel manager.In rest is an excelent hotel with renovate room and new better furniture, very good for shopping and for the one hwo have a morning flight (it is close to the airoport)

I stayed here one night, and it was pretty good. It's located in a shopping mall complex, so there are lots of food and drink options within a 2 minute walk. The staff was friendly. The hotel is a no frills place, good for sleeping. I probably would not recommend it for a romantic getaway, though. It's a short 10 minute drive from downtown Salzburg. I had my car, so I'm not sure how easy or hard it would be to get downtown by public transportation. I would definitely stay here again.
"An unusual but interesting location"

Visible from the autobahn the hotel is easy to find on a well signposted retail and entertainment park. With an Erotica shop just next door to the Etap hotel the first impression was that this may not be the most respectable of areas, but it soon became clear that we were wrong to have such misgivings because the main shopping mall contained plenty of upmarket boutiques and to compliment the fast food outlets there were also some fine places to dine. In the evening we went for Italian in a trendy restaurant before settling into a few beers at the pub just opposite the hotel.It was an under 4 mile ride to the historic heart of Salzburg, but the traffic was so heavy that we wished we had taken the advice of the hotel receptionist and jumped on one of the regular buses to there from the main road at the edge of the park. Still, the city visit was well worth the effort though.The airconditioning in our rooms was not very effective and was too noisy to get to sleep. I stood on a chair to see if the air blowing out of it was indeed cooler. It was, but in the end I decided to turn it off and sleep without any covers over me.The parking at the front of the hotel is undercover and despite quite heavy overnight rain the motorcycles were dry in morning. Breakfast was the usual eat and drink all you can Etap fare with nice views of the nearby Alps from the breakfast restaurant.All said and done a good stay and great value too.Mike, Lincolnshire
"Affordable hotel as an alternative to the hotels in the city"

It was not about the room size, facilities or anything else. We were looking for an affordable hotel in close distance to the city center because the purpose of our stay was to have a good night out.So if you are looking for a simple, affordable hotel approx. 15min (€15 by taxi) away from the old town and in immediate proximity of Salzburg airport, then I can say...Yes, go for it.

Very kind personal, clean rooms, location near the highway, super breakfast.Personally I found the bed a bit hard I can recommend this hotel to everybody who's looking for a place to sleep near Salzburg.
