"Not the cleanest place"

We stayed at other Ibis hotels during our trip in Germany and unfortunately, the standards do vary somewhat. We had a lovely girl at the reception desk who unfortunately (for her) had to be the barmaid, waiter, receptionist all at the same time.The first room we had was not nice as the bathroom smelt of urine. luckily they changed our room straight away. This was our least favourite Ibis hotel during the trip but it was good value for the location.
"Better than average Ibis"

Although the hotel is still "only" an Ibis with the plastic shower etc... the rooms are larger than average and the hotel is very quiet despite being central in Heilbronn.The quilt is a little small for the bed but that would be my only issue, the hotel is well maintained and the staff pleasant, breakfast is also top of the Ibis class. Well done!

Upsides : Clean, central location, car parking, walking to town centre, breakfast good. Free WiFiDownsides : Very basic, limited TV for English language, no resturant, only snack available. Room not really comfortable to spend too much time in it.

The average rating is because there was a makeover in progress. That caused some inconfeniances, otherwise the hotel was as pleasant as the last four years, in wich we made the same visit. The staff was working very hard to keep everybody as happy as possible.

Room wasn't cleaned...Trashbin wans't cleanet from last visitor, and their used cups still standing on the table..However the bed was made..Wounldn't recommend to a friend, but hope in future they will get this issue fixet in order to get better ratings.

friendly staff, room a bit too small, TV old and no room service, food available 24/7 at reception floor is not very great, breakfast OK, but not very good coffee, there seem to be plenty of restaurants around to compensate for this
