My self and my partner stayed two nights at the Novotel Excel. We had a wounderfull time, staff were friendly and very helpful,rooms very clean, spacious and very good standard. This hotel has good bars and a beautiful water front view. We had a look at the gym although small but not bad for a hotel gym. Nice steam room and sauna, we enjoyed using the steam room. we rate this hotel 5 star and recommend it to everybody, couples, family etc. We had so much fun, already planning another trip.

"Perfect for ExCel"

Stayed at this hotel as I was exhibiting at ExCel. Perfect location for it.Food in restaurant was way above expectations and good value for money. The inclusive breakfasts were plentiful and varied but perhaps done too 'en masse' to get the best quality out of the chefs.All the front of house staff I came into contact with were efficient, courteous and eager to ensure my stay was hassle-free.Please don't book it during the boat show, though...I'll have to stay somewhere else if you do!

This hotel is excellent.The rooms have been refurbished and are greatThe restaurant is great value. The staff are very helpful. The location is great for London City Airport and Excel and the taxi (which is a Mercedes) to the Airport is great value at £10.00.I would always stay here if I needed the Airport, or was attending an exhibition at ExcelWell done Accor

"Visit to Excel"

This was a nice clean and modern Hotel perfectly located for Excel. The location was nice with views across the Royal dock, and of the Emirates Ailine cable car. The staff were all friendly and helpful, breakfast was pretty good to.

Nice hotel, nice staff, lovely setting. Was a bit far from the CBD but nice and handy to O2 arena. Had to ask for our room to be serviced but on the whole a good value mid range hotel if you want to be in this part of town. Disappointing that we couldn't leave our luggage at an inner city location of this hotel chain on the day we were flying out. Instead we had to leave our bags at hotel, spent the day in town then take another 4 train trips to get back out to the hotel to collect our luggage and head out to Heathrow. Would be much easier if the chain of hotels would work together to accommodate patrons.

"Welcoming and worth the money"

This has been the serveral time with stayed at this hotel athough this hotel can be pricey, it does show in the service and the welcoming feeling you get from the hotel making you feel the money was well spent, completly opposite when it comes to it's neighbough the Ibis. Due to a bad time in the Ibis, it was the main reason we were willing to spend more money to get the better overall hotel.

"My Stay at the Novotel at ExCel London"

My 3 night stay at Novotel ExCel London was excellent and I would recommend it to anybody who wishes to stay in London for a break.The room was more then I expected and the bed was comfortable.The bar and restaurant where very good, the breakfast meals where excellent.

"Good hotel, good location, terrible sewage smell!"

Stayed here for 1 night with family. Hotel was good overall, reception was good, bed was comfortable, location good, but the smell of sewage in the room was terrible, not just the room but also in the hallway. Mentioned on check-out and told it will be investigated. Pretty sure it is not a one off but an ongoing problem.

Wasn't really familiar with the area so was very happy with the location. Comfy bed. Bathroom was modern & roomy. Had a good night's sleep. Hotel staff at Reception at check in & check out were polite & engaging; staff in breakfast area were quick & efficient. Will stay again should I see anything at the O2.
