"Great location just a subway stop from Tianamen Square."

This hotel is in fairly good condition, but the big advantage is the subway stop in front of the hotel and the short distance to Tianamen, Forbidden City and shopping.

I feel bad because when reserve via Le club said get a cheaper rate but when arrived found the room has no window then need to change the room and the fee for changing is very expensive

Very good position in central Beijing, at a walk distance from TianAnMen Square and then Forbidden City.Some problems at the reception when they gave me a room different from the booked one: I booked a "superior" room, "with a view from a top floor", but I was given a room at floor 2 (surely not a top floor), I claimed and I was given a room at 5th floor and with a view on the hotel hall! I claimed again and then I was given a room at 15th floor.

with its excellent location nearby Beijing Train station and close to the center of the city, Novotel Xinqiao is the ideal hotel with competative rate as your primier choice in Beijing.although it's not deluxe it's not luxury, it's business, it's cozy, it's comfortable.

Despite my husband showing his A-Club Platinum membership, we were given a rather cramped room with carpet rather dirty & stained. As we have another 6 other days booking, we eventually were relocated to block A. We stayed further from 9 to 15 th April. We do enjoy the Tang Palace food very much! We can conclude our stay from 7 to 15 April eventually was rather satisfactory.

I cannot say anything negative about my 5 day stay. The service was excellent, the bed was comfortable (not hard like most Chinese hotels), and the location near the subway was great. The hotel is close in enough to walk many places and shopping is nearby. I suggest that potential guests also consider a premier room. For the reasonable added cost, you get a good room, breakfast, happy hour, laundry and added service.

The hotel was quite well located, and the room is quite nice. But I had some problems with the reservation systems. I booked the superior room in the high stages as indicated in the German version, but was told by reception that the rooms are overbooked. But the staff were quite friendly and nice, for the second night, they gave me one executive upgrade to compensate for the information mismatch. When I checked out, the printer on the business center couldnt print my hotel voucher for more than 25 minutes. Some of the experience was not good, but I am surprised that the general manager wrote me an email to apologize himself! I appreciate it very much and could accept his words. I do hope that I can have chance to experience the hotel again and do hope everything will be improved and I am sure for it! I like especiall all the nice Chinese staffs in the hotel very much! All were quite polite and helpful!

Nice clean rooms, and great location. Could improve on friendliness and service at the front desk though. Took 15 minutes to be helped at the front desk just to get checked in (A-Club member's queue not monitored or staffed). I waited and was seen by staff but none came to process my check in. In fact, queues would be nice as there was just a mass of people checking in/out. Also, I saw only one front desk staff (out of 7) smile the whole time while checking in. But if these things don't matter to you, then it's a good place to stay.

I have researched all the hotels nearby and i was sooo happy i got the best one . I already booked the park plaza and decided to cancel my booking and transferred to novotel xinqiao. I was so happy with this hotel, GOOD VALUE with good breakfast buffet . Will surely go back .Just one disappointment , the smell of smoke inside the non smoking rooms.

my partner visit a friend during our first leg of our tour from another hotel and was not impressed with the roomi had already pre booked this room for our return at the end of our tour and was also told it was not a good hotel by my chinese friend who is a travel agentworried? yes i washowever i was delighted and relieved in the trust i have in your hotels which i the reason why i am an advantageplus memeber for the last 4 or 5 yrs. well done

Other than an issue with the air conditioning, our stay here was very good. Excellent position due to the subway entry outside the door and attractions reasonable close eg.Tiananmen Square is one stop away.. Good shopping available within 500 metres. Staff were friendly and tried to assist at all times. Breakfast menu was OK without being brilliant. Overall I would say that this hotel is very good and I would recommend it to all.

We stayed here for 4 nights and this property is right in front of subway station. You would appreciate the location more when the tempreture is close to freezing. Very basic and clean hotel and staffs are trying their best and all out to help guests. Will stay here if come to Beijing again.

We chose the hotel owing to its proximity to the subway which is just in front of the hotel. The breakfast buffet is excellent. The hotel is close to all the tourist attractions and markets. A short trip via subway gets you to the various attractions- really convenient. The room we got in Block B was pretty quiet. However the wifi speed was quite slow.

The location of the hotel is great, the subway is just right in front. Shopping is just a few blocks away. The free Wifi is slow and connection keeps dropping thou. And i would appreciate it if they provide a disposable shaver. Room rates is slightly higher than other hotels nearby. Over experience is wonderful.

Hotel is old but everything is generally fine. Good location, right next to the "Chongwenmen" metro station. Perhaps the only complaint I had was the bed mattress which was too hard for me and part of the mattress was sunken. The bed from a room at the new wing was fine for me but we chose the room at the old wing anyway because of its bathtub.

I usually stay at the Novotel Peace by the Wangfujing Shopping Street. But it is a twenty minute walk to the subway. So I thought I'd try the Novotel Xin Qiao. I came up out of the subway and right in front of me was the Novotel! Wonderful. (I think it's the NW exit from Line 2, Chongwenmen stop.) The breakfast was included with my online reservation. If you want piano-bar luxury then stay at the Peace. But if you want everything the same other than the piano bar - for a lot less money, and included great breakfast - then stay at the Xin Qiao. If you're a subway traveler this is the best option I've found. BTW, it took me about 40 minutes to go one way to the airport by subway from the doors of the Xin Qiao. Nice.
