"complaint"

The hotel is shoddy to say the least and, at USD150 a night, a ripp off for what it is. There wasn't even a place to put the soap inside the shower cubicle! I had to open the window and put it on the ledge! In short, the hotel lets the Mercure brand down very badly. Either refurbish it, or get rid of it as it harms your brand image. the other mercures I have stayed at (Bloomington, MN, Sao Paulo, SP, and Brasilia, DF) are more like what I expect from this brand. The Beverly Hills in Porto Alegre was a disgrace in comparison.

We got to the hotel at 10:30 pm. No restaurant, no room services available. The room itself is ok but need some repair. Although, it's a clean place to stay

I've stayed at the Mercure Beverly Hills and sister hotel the Manhattan a total of 21 days in the past year. Staff is great, good modern, clean rooms. A great location, safe and accessible to a lot of local restaurants. One thing that would make this very good hotel great is to include an english language TV station or two. CNN and BBC are easily added to the menu...
