Hotel is fine, but bathroom are a little bit old. Main street might be noisy. Staff at the front desk doesn't speak always English. Check out process is too long (time to issue the bill)

Good experience on my first visit to Brazil

I stayed 11 nights. The hotel has a good breakfast buffet; I ate there every morning. For exercise, I swam in the piscina a few times. There are shopping and many restaurants within walking distance. My room was clean and nice; it had a refrigerator, air conditioning, and a small balcony.

Room was satisfactory and breakfast was good. Over and over had problems with the room key....over 10 times!! Front desk claimed my phone was the problem even though card was not near phone. House cleaning would not recognize the "do not disturb" sign.

The breakfasts were good and staff very friendly and efficient. Our superior room was a bit tired. The shower worked but could do with refreshing. The safe in the bedroom didn't work. There weren't very many coathangers. The air con worked extremely well in a heat wave. Position was ideal in Jaragua for the town centre. It's a shame that more wasn't made of the bar area as it would have been lovely to visited the bar for a drink on the way out of an evening or on the way home to mark the end of a good day. We were looking forward to using the swimming pool but the sides looked like they needed a scrub so we found an alternative pool to use for our stay as it was very hot. Also the seating area, being in the centre of town was (as of course you'd expect) noisy and not at all relaxing.

The hotel is well located, and was overall a good stay. Very basic hotel that was clean, and had a pretty good breakfast.
