"Reasonable stay"
27th February 2013, claire_woodcock, Crewe, United Kingdom
A very basic hotel but everything you need for a quick stay over. Close to the DLR. Thought it was a bit too basic that there was only one electric socket in the room. Clean and well set out. There wasn't a lot of noise around the hotel so a good nights sleep. Amenities were fine, tv, shower, sink and toilet. No tea and coffee making facilities but this is what keeps the price down. Secure parking with locked gates at night for peace of mind.

"IBIS Budget (very)"
4th February 2013, Denny P, Sheffield, United Kingdom
The rooms at this hotel extremely basic with no carpets, curtainsso all sounds are magnified. The bed is like sleeping on wood and every turn in the night sounds like being in a steel foundry. The airport is very close and the busy air traffic is extremely noisy. I spent 2 hours on my arrivakl looking for a store to buy soap, shampoo and a hair dryer which were not provided. The breakfast was a choice between stale bread to toast or croissants which were ok. I will never stay at another IBIS Budget hotel and would not reccomend it to anyone, my advice, pay a little extra and stay at the Premier Inn.

"It was a mistake to choose this hotel"
2nd February 2013, Audrius_12, Klaipeda, Lithuania
The hotel looks proper from outside, but the staff and the service spoil everything. The only receptionist is there who is also in charge of breakfast, phone calls, etc. Stayed only one night, but was woken by housekeeping, who knocked on the door at 8:30. No hello, just sorry. Terrible smell in the bathroom with nearly- broken shower. Rooms are spacy enough, but beds are small.I would never stay there anymore.

"Poor service"
28th January 2013, Nahiana, Sciacca, Italy
The position it was great for people who has business in west London, very easy access to the underground. The Hotel service is not good, I had a bad experience. I stayed for 5 days and on the second day I went to hit up my baby's milk around 10:15 and the breakfast finished at 10, I ask the receptionist if I could have a cup of coffee and he said that the coffee cost was £1.40, unfortunately I didn't have that money on me, the same time another customer came down and asked for the same thing and he gave to him and haven't said anything about £1.40 and gave him the coffee, I asked him why you didn't charge him, and he said that the gentleman has a contract with the hotel for that reason he can drink as many coffee as he want. I felt that I wasn't valuable customer for them and because £1.40 I'll never come to this hotel anymore. The bed sheet was dirty and the towels also.I didn't ask for room service for the first 2 days but then on day 3 I asked they came in and didn't change the bed, didn't clean the floor, they replaced the towels with a very old and dirty ones, the bed on top of the double one they didn't even looked at it, so I don't recommend that Hotel for a family as I saw that many couple use that hotel for other purpose rather than a hotel to rest!

"Get what you pay for"
14th January 2013, ASB777, Santa Eulalia del Rio, Spain
The price is reasonable for London although of course the hotel is actually situated in an industrial area close to City Airport and therefore some distance from central London. I cannot imagine why anyone would stay here apart from when they are using the airport but it does offer good value for money, the rooms are very clean and tidy and the staff helpful and polite. There was a smell of drains coming from the shower in one of our rooms and we had experienced the same problem when we stayed at the hotel in November.I think we'll probably try somewhere else the next time we use City Aiport, even if it means paying a little more and staying a bit further from the airport, merely because there are no tea making facilities in the rooms, the beds are pretty uncomfortable, we've experienced the same nasty smell in the shower twice now and there is nowhere nearby to get a decent evening meal.

"AIRPORT STAY"
4th January 2013, GRobinson_13, Haywards Heath, United Kingdom
Close to City Airport but not an easy walk with luggage. A taxi is needed.Simple accommodation ideal for a very early flight. Food sent in on request and delivered to the room. Helpful staff. Overall an ideal place to stay though finding the hotel from the DLR station was not easy with no signs along the road.

"Convenient position"
31st December 2012, Alan543, Weymouth, United Kingdom
A clean and comfortable hotel, very good shower. No tea making facility though. The hotel is reasonably priced and very convenient for London City Airport, from which I had to collect relatives from. Note the hotel has a free car park and its about 20 minutes walk to airport.

"Ibis Budget London City Airport"
13th December 2012, shez1607, Glasgow, United Kingdom
Polite, friendly and efficcient staff.Rooms small but clean, no frills or coffee making facilities. Beds a touch on the the hard side for my liking. No carpet or bed side mat and no shower mat to stand on when drying off.I chose this hotel for convenience to airport, it was slightly further to walk than I had thought but it was exceptionally quiet.Filling station with shop next door.

"Perfectly good accomodation with easy access to other parts of london"
5th December 2012, David S, Stowmarket, UK
I think the ibis budget is well-run and well-kept, and more-than-adequate accomodation, well worth the price, considering it is in London.A mention for the sub-£5 breakfast - much more substantial than i expected, and with excellent coffee.

"Place to lie down before flight, nothing less and certainly nothing more."
28th July 2012, Jack R, Langport, United Kingdom
This hotel does what it does and nothing more. As a place to crash the night before a flight it was OK - room tiny and noisy but bed comfy. Location, 2 mins walk from London City Airport was ideal and is really the only reason to stay here.

"Budget hotel but not up to scratch"
30th June 2012, Nottingham, United Kingdom
We have stayed at Ibis hotels on several occasions - this was by some distance the poorest. The hotel is a long way from the centre of London and the budget price was no compensation, given the quality of the accommodation. We stayed on 2 separate nights. On the first the shower gave out a most unpleasant smell and the mattress was hard and uncomfortable. On the second the room we were put in had not been cleaned and was infested with ants. We were moved when we complained. On a positive note the reception staff were unfailingly polite and helpful.
