A nice enough hotel that is showing its age

TripAdvisor rating 3.0/5

Mike C TripAdvisor review

This hotel is on an amazing property high atop a mountain overlooking the entire city of Al Ain. It's a nice enough property with an amazing view but in desperate need of an update. It was apparently built in the 80s and definitely is showing its age. The decor is very dated. The rooms are comfortable enough but feel old and the bathrooms feel very 80s as well. The staff was nice, and the buffet breakfast was pretty good. Not a bad stay but the hotel could use a facelift.

Chefs and the F&B Makes all the difference!

Chef Sushil and his team including Chef Javed, Chef Bahadur and Chef Kailesh (from the omelet counter) are very welcoming. Even the Service staff (Ali and the breakfast crew are extremely hardworking and accommodating. Many thanks to all staff.

We booked two adjacent rooms. Nothing major to complain about but for the price , one expects to get a better experience. The rooms are old, the flush in the toilet was not functioning well. The food was ok. They have an open buffet for lunch and dinner but the food is repetitive

Amazing location and full of activities to do

The hotel itself is massive and offers a number of great activities for all age. Rooms are very spacious and the view is spectacular. The only downside is the cleaning side: rooms are a bit outdated and very dusted. Carpet should be removed. Staff is ok, but if you manage a four stars hotels you also need to train your employees as some of them clearly did not have attention to details required to work at these standards (room service not delivered, lack of equipment to clean the room etc) Despite these little details, my stay was great and I was able to relax, have fun and recharge. I will definitely be back.
