"Should be branded as Ibis Budget rather than regular Ibis"
5th March 2013, Moscow
Should be branded as Ibis Budget as facilities are really way below regular Ibis hotel. As well as the price should be much lower. Quite old and shabby. Accor Hotels membership means nothing to staff. Their loyalty program priority desk was never attended and you would have to queue for check-in or check-out. Also the front desk stuff would conveniently disappear at pick times "for lunch". In 2013 no wifi in rooms and simple things like a bottle of water costing nothing really is it too much especially in a hot location like Dubai? Or you really think that tourists would have with them enough of local coins to buy water from those useless vending machines you've put in corridors nobody is really using and just producing the noise? Really this hotel won't sustain a comparison even with other Ibis hotels in town.

"Need to improve customer service"
1st March 2013, Ger265, Abu Dhabi, United Arab Emirates
When arrive was not greeted by friendly staff, they were just going through the motions. When asked about paring for my car, was told there was two options, but not told what the options were, so had to ask again. Told could use the nearby car park, shown a map on the computer screen how to drive there, but car park was not on the map. When tried to drive to car park, found there was road works and had to drive around again to find car park. When got to the room, there was a damp smell, and the AC was lowered to 15degrees, so room was very cold. The bathroom is small and cramped. The chambermaid was friendly when he meet us in the hallway. He asked if we wanted our towels changed and anything else clean or done in our room. The breakfast next morning was good, a good selection of food. The room was cheap, so I expect you get what you pay for. Next time I will look around more and pay a bit extra for a more comfortable place to stay.

"Good location. Even so,"
13th February 2013, myeoner, Seoul, South Korea
Please check before you choose. Free-wifi only in the lobby, tiny room space, etc, but the nearest hotel to convention center, so only 3-min walk distance from room to room. You can save expense for taxi.

"Good value for money, centrally located"
20th November 2012, RobertN771_12, utrecht
Nice reception and rooms are clean with good furnishings. My room was just big enough for the double bed, so would have been small if I was there with another person and for a number of days. Excellent for a one day transit stopover though. There are a couple of restaurants next to the metro, walking distance from the hotel (less than 5 minutes).

"Ibis"
19th November 2012, tripcommentibs, beirut
Bathrooms needs to be refurbished and the floor carpet has to be replaced. The bed was nnot clean enough. I enjoyed other new Ibis hotels in Dubai but the one at WTC is not as good and not up to standards.

Good value and good location. Friendly staff and close to the exhibition centre. Breakfast is good and they offer a very good deal with the business package which includes internet, breakfast and lundry.

"Great Value and convenience"
25th April 2012
I stayed at IBIS while attending business conference at World Trade centre, Dubai. The hotel is located within walking distance of the venue and metro station and gives excellent value for money. Food and other services of the hotel are great for any business traveller...
"very average"
12th April 2012, Sara S, Nairobi, Kenya
Hotel is in good location , is clean, breakfast OK . Rooms are small, shower rooms tiny. I was travelling with teenage boys and booked a double and a twin bedded room. The latter was unavailable for both nights of our stay . Staff were not at all apologetic and very badly trained in customer service. I finally managed to speak to the manager and eventually persuaded him to throw in breakfast by way of compensation, note I had to ask he did not offer. There were no car park passes available and again no hint of an apology. There is a free car park about 10 mins walk away but the location of this was not forthcoming from reception staff. I booked out stay on line, next time I would phone hotel, speak to the manager and confirm that what I had booked was available.

"Inspiring in the wrong kind of way"
30th January 2012, FuriosFinn1, Dubai
If you just want somewhere to put your head down, it's ok, the room certainly inspires you to get out and about.Rooms too small, plus no fridge or anything else for that matter, literally just a bed and TV. Bathroom tiny, and the hot water was luke warm to scolding hot. Price should include taxes when you book. Breakfast was ok. Internet should be free in the rooms, just like it is in the reception area, which just seems ridiculous to me.Overall, I think for the money you pay it is not value for money, but then again it's one of the cheaper options for Dubai.
