"One night stay for the second time."

This is the second time we have stayed here and find it a very clean and well presented budget hotel.The showers are some of the best I have had. The staff are excellent and the rooms are very clean. It is very secure with extensive garden area although we have had problems finding it but if you get the correct junction off the A4 then you do not have much trouble.

Very unhelpful Manager who informed us that we couldn't share the room with our children ages 13 and 10 because our older child was over 12. I had to drive 6KM to a B&B hotel and stay there on my own. What a jobs worth.

I've never stayed at an Ibis budget before but was very pleasantly surprised. The rooms were like new and spotlessly clean and all lights, plumbing and TV were working perfectly. The beds were very firm but I had a great night's sleep on both visits. It was silent - couldn't hear the motorways at all despite it being no more than 1km away. The N31 is easy to navigate and you can turn around at the roundabouts if you accidently end up going the wrong way (as we did). Ibis budget has very clear, high up blue signs that you can see when you're nearing the N31 junction off the A26 or A4 so it's easy to find. Next door in all directions are restaurants, a cinema, ten pin bowling and an indoor play centre for kids. It's all very clean and newly built and our 7 year old sat nav didn't recognise the street. The hotel staff will tell you about any discounts you can get at the local restaurants/playpark.Only 2 flaws: 1. we had to wait a while both times for service at the front desk as we arrived at the start and end of half term - the hotel was fully booked and busy. The staff were very friendly and helpful and spoke good English once we were served. 2. Children aged 12 and up count as adults and cost an extra 15 euro each!! Fortunately they didn't ask us how old the kids were on our return journey so we didn't have to pay 30 euro extra (as our kids were 12 and 13)

For a good, cheap nights sleep whilst travelling through France this couldn't be beaten. Very basic but all you need when arriving at ten pm and on the road again at seven am. Clean, hot shower, comfy bed, amazingly quiet, secure carpark, friendly helpful staff.
