"Sleepless in Vienna"

A nice hotel, with a good location which you pay for. The rooms are okay - but found that the air conditioning not working (in our room) for 3 days - with temperatures in the 30's. Did get moved to another room - finally.Staff nice and friendly, and the breakfast is vast and very enjoyable, although the hot food can be a bit on the cold side - but, just let them know, and it's normally resolved pretty quickly.The small bar area is great for relaxing and having a drink after a day on your feet.

Ok! Excelent location 7 min walk to St. Stephen's Cathedral - close to metro station . Breakfast good. Staff have a litle problem with our familly (2+3children) but quickly solve a problem . Don,t miss 1 min. walk Nordsee fastfood .

"handy for tourists"

Being Winter, it was particularly good to be able to walk underground when needing to get to the heart of the city, without paying highest premium. We got a great online deal and this hotel was everything we needed. Being close to the gourmet markets was a bonus.Staff were very friendly and helpful.Secession is the useful close underground, but you can walk to Opera, no problems.

"Cost discrepency"

Great hotel and location. However, there was a big difference in the rate that i obtain which was much higher than others who stayed in the same hotel same period. I would still recomend the hotel due to its location.

Poor service. Unfriendly and rude employees at the reception. Dirty rooms. Upon arrival the towels were untidy. During the stay my evening bag from Dior disappeared and the hotel management did not even apologize.

"Nice hotel in the center of Vienna"

Very comfortable and quiet rooms, nice stuff, good breakfast. It has a nice terrace and a nice bar. Internet was available in all rooms for free !!!The hotel is very close to the Center and shopping areas. Air conditioning could'nt be stopped during the night.

The location was good, closely to the city sightseens. There was a problem with the air-condiotion, it was so noisy so we could't sleep. When I told the problem to the receptionist she told me that the hotel was so old such the air-condiotion machine !!!!!!

We spent three days at this hotel and it was a good experience. It is very well located in the center or Vienne, near the Metro. Room was clean, good size and confortable. We received good assistance from front desk when needed. Free internet. We would stay there again.

"Excellent in every aspect"

The hotel offers the high level of cleanness typical for the Mercure brand. The staff was extremely polite. The location is perfect. The windows of the room I stayed were facing the inner yard and this ensured "baby-like sleep". The furniture and fixtures were seeming absolutely new and well kept. In brief everything was of highest standard and meeting and even exceeding my expectations. Preferred to taste the local specialties - Viennese coffee and schnitzel, I am not aware for the quality of the breakfast. I was handed a brochure providing quite attractive combination for the affordable price of some 6 euro.
