"Good value place to crash"
3rd November 2012, ourhouseinquercy, Souillac, France
This is a good value (cheap) clean and comfy place to sleep if you have to be near the CDG airport. Excellent service - the Ibis budget brand seem to be doing a great job picking good staff. Nothing fancy with the room, but as mentioned above clean and beds were comfy. For 50 euro for 3 people, hard to find better value.
"Good value if staying near airport"
29th October 2012, JudiSF, San Francisco, California, USA
Very small but spotless rooms. Breakfast buffet available for extra charge. Shuttle from airport runs only every 40 minutes in the afternoon, more frequently at other times. Train to Paris center takes 45 minutes from airport. Good value if you need to be near airport.
"Good value"
22nd September 2012, rhcronin, Menlo Park, California, USA
This hotel is a good value. It is comfortable and modern. The staff was efficient and friendly. The breakfast is cheap, adequate but not outstanding. One complaint; The shuttle bus to the airport in the morning is very crowded.
"Like staying in an Ikea prison cell (but worth the price :-)"
18th September 2012, Sunnyvale, California, USA
Imagine Ikea designed prison cells: Scandanavian style queen bed with an upper twin bunk bed, small desk bolted to wall, small sink, small separate toilet room, and a small shower. Nothing unbolted or loose except for 3 thin towels and 3 mini bars of soap. No coffee, no shampoo, nothing except a couple plastic cups.So why 4 stars? It's just fine for a single night prior to a flight out of CDG. There's free wireless, plus food vending machines and a microwave in the lobby. And you can walk to a restaurant across the parking lot or take a longer trek to the Hyatt. The room was very clean and had double windows so was very quiet. And the price was right. So for the price, 4 stars.
"a good choice close to the airport"
2nd September 2012, Sue183, Hobart
If you are looking for a convenient hotel close to the airport this budget option has all you need. Like all the Etap / Ibis budget hotels it is clean and comfortable, has excellent wifi but limited food options. Take something to eat with you if you arrive in the evening. Be sure to tell the taxi driver that the hotel is in Paris Nord 2 or you will end up searching in the wrong hotel area.
"decent for one night stay"
16th July 2012, Cartagena, Colombia
the only thing that i think si missing is places to eat. When most of the hotels are full, the restaurants are the same if it is not worst and ,only 2 restaurants for at least 4 hotels.
"recommended for next day flight"
2nd June 2012
If you are not benefiting from your stay in the city center in the coming hours. it is better to sleep near the airport to get your flight early. to be in peace of mind, as airports require being there at least 3 hours before departure time.Breakfast is not good. No water to drink in the buffet !!!
"Very bad experience"
13th May 2012, GDublin_12, Dublin, Ireland
The fire alarm rang 3 times during the night. The security lights were not working so it was complete darkness on the hallways and in the staircases. The personel did not car at all about the general panic and did not bother communicating with us.
"excellent price / quality ratio"
11th May 2012, eretovak, Pilsen, Czech Republic
If you just want to sleep, so it's great. For very low cost, 5 km from the airport, clean, simply furnished room, all new works, in fresh white and green colors .. everything one needs is there. Comfortable bed, toilet, shower room .. not extra large, there is no closet, but it is enough sleep. The friendly reception for 5 EUR certainly can not get a better breakfast.
"Acceptable for a quick transfer in or out of France"
11th May 2012, RichardTRHS75, Chicago, Illinois, USA
Hotel serves the purpose for a cheap hotel night prior to departure or after arrival. I would stay again if that was my purpose. For any other use (business, touring, etc.) I would select another hotel.
"Liked the convenience...but..."
24th April 2012
We liked the convenience of the hotel to the airport and the free shuttle was great. We were not impressed with the ammenities in the room. There was no shampoo, no washclothes or hand towels, nor hair dryer. It felt like staying in a college dorm room. The cleaning lady let herself into our room while we were inside. She knocked and then opened the locked door and came right in. The two different staff members we encountered at the front desk were not friendly.
"Adequate for airport transfers"
9th April 2012, RichardTRHS75, Chicago, Illinois, USA
Room is tiny. It is acceptable for one night stays before or after a flight. For any other purpose, an alternate hotel should be selected.
"Step out for a call to come-in"
31st March 2012, Santiago, Chile
The room is actually a bed surrounded by walls, it looks like an indoor playground for toddlers with another bed on top, or the french version of a coffin for the living . Breakfast is not worth Euro7.00 or Euro 7.50, worth no more than Euro3.00 or 3.50.
"HOTEL PARIS"
13th March 2012, Mindelo, Cape Verde
The hotel is very clean, but the localization I cannot say because the shuttle bus at least crossed same places for 3 or more than 3 times, from the airport to hotel way.The breakfast could be better.I also cannot evaluate the service but it was not bad. The apartments are ok.
"Paris convenience"
6th March 2012, tomiboi, edmonton
Stayed at many Etap's and this is tops all round. Bathrooms could use more sound proofing. Will make it a base for visits to Paris central since there is a free frequent shuttle bus to connect with the RER B station.
"Clean, quiet, good price"
25th February 2012, barbizondamazon, salt lake city, ut
We had two brief overnights in Paris and needed a place near the airport. The ETAP hotel was very convenient (free shuttle), clean, quiet, everything we needed. It was quite basic, but very good for the price. When we stay longer in Paris we want to stay in the city, but it was actually quite easy to take the shuttle to the RER station and take the train into the city.
"Close to airport, but waited almost an hour for the shuttle bus"
17th February 2012, Bennieboy22, France
Clean, cheap hotel close to CDG airport. Good value for money, but we had to wait for 50 minutes for the free shuttle bus "navette blanche" from the main SNCF station at the airport. Three of the shuttles for other hotels, the so called "black buses" came and went in the mean time and the area where you wait is not ideal when you are on your own with two small children. Once the bus came,it was jam packed and we had to stand up. This has happened to me twice in the recent past so I don't think it is a one-off. Couldn't get a taxi either and this will put me off staying again!Once at the hotel, service was efficient if not over friendly. There were some vending machines in the reception area selling ready meals that we heated in the microwave provided. I also ordered a pizza (Speed rabbit) from the leaflets in the hotel and it was delivered to my door while the kids slept- brilliant!Room was fine and the baby cot I had requested was in place, although without linen or blankets and the room was freezing,so baby ended up sleeping in my bed :(Breakfast ok value for 5€ and the shuttle bus picked us up at the set time in the morning.
