"Convenient, affordable stay"

Convenient, affordable overnight stay if you just need a place to stay for the night. It is not a holiday destination. Checking in took a bit longer than I expected but otherwise ok.

Rooms & bathroom are tiny - as expected for a Formule 1. A bit too noise but good location and value for money.

Hotel is presently surrounded by noisy construction work, making it impossible to take a rest during the day. It is not the fault of the hotel, but there should be a warning and/or some reduction in tariff during the worst periods.

A box for $104. Hostels in Europe offer a lot more for half the price, it is quiet outside but you can hear your next room if they happen to be slightly noisy. you cant chane the angle of the tv . but the price the other hotels charge this one is a Jacpot.

The accomodation was what we expected. We would suggest that the bed have some wedges under the wheels so it does not always need to move when you sit on it. Also if some sort of fly screens on the windows would be nice but we do like being able to have fresh air in our room instead of having to use the airconditioning. We sleep much better.

Formulae 1 rooms are the same the word over, I guess - the Queen bed and the bunk, the bathroom and TV with desk below. The services in the foyer were fine, the breakfast good value for money and the staff friendly and helpful. Pillows brilliant - they're bugbear of mine. Would happily stay again - in fact this was my second time at this hotel.

if you go for business or leisure to Canberra and dont want to spend a fortune for a hotelroom Formula 1 is the place to go. It is in North Canberra just after you come in from thehighway on the left side, the rooms are clean, new refurbished, the staff is plesant and ifthe hotel would be closer to the center of Canberra it would be ideal! But even with the disadvantage of location it is still the most economic place to be,without staying in a backpackers and I have be coming back to it ever it opend a fewyears ago.

We loved getting our accomodation so cheap, no it was not the prettiest or largest room we have stayed in, but as a family of 3 we would definately make the same choice if we were staying in Canberra and hiring a car again.

Manager knows her job but needs to clean up the front desk. It makes the whole hotel seem run down.Building of apartments next door begins with machinery working at 6.30 am. Surely you can arrange for this to be later.

Great value.., wonderful to be able to break a long journey for a sound nights sleep.Beds comfortable. Great to see fresh renovations taking place. Thanks would break my trip more often with such a great rate.
