"My stay at the motel."

Service at desk - pleasant and quick. Room - clean and tidy. Bed comfortable enough. Would have liked a kettle and tea, coffee, sugar, milk packets in the room. I did not like the coffee in the vending machine.. Quiet enough apart from the banging of doors as people left their rooms (rather loud echo). Bathroom - Was surprised that the water from the shower went all over the floor and did not have a raised bit to keep the water just in the shower. The location is excellent for those who need to catch a Greyhound bus and is close to the shops, restaurants etc.

Very basic small room-only enough space for overnight luggage (no spare pillows in room)...small en-suite with no bath mat...the shower curtain & the fall on the tiled floor failed to keep the water contained resulting in the majority of the floor in en-suite becoming saturated when showering...no bar fridge in room however there was a communal fridge in reception area...bed linen was crisp & clean/We selected the Ibis Budget Coffs Harbour for convenience to a function at Coffs Coast Hotel (next door) and we would be better prepared with lesser expectations for BUDGET accommodation if we choose to stay again.

Very clean tidy hotel good location, the check in guy was very rude but the woman on after him later that night was lovely other then that haven't had a problem :) only other thing is they should have advertised on the booking site that there will be a $50 per adult bond required to be paid on arrival that was a shock when we got there.

The room was very cramped for 2 people (stayed in a 2 single beds with a bunk bed room to give us extra room but that didn't turn out the best option). There was no hand towel, bath mat and not even a hair dryer in the bathroom. The showers are like swimming pools - water doesn't run down the drain. The beds are surprisely comfy for such a budget hotel so this was the only thing that made staying here ok. The staff are friendly which was also good. If you are on a massive budget then stay here, but make sure you don't expect much.

My stay was just about perfect, the only draw back was the wind walking from the car to the hotel. Was a little cool. all was good. The service i received was first rate, no waiting and precise in the instructions about what was expected.
"Budget or backpackers"
24th July 2013
If you are looking for clean budget accommodation then it is here. If you are looking for back packer style access to a kitchen and congenial atmosphere then I would recommend regular backpackers. If you just need a bed that is clean for the night and intend moving on quickly this is satisfactory otherwise my preference would be elsewhere.
