From the moment I booked and attempted to make contact with reception it was terrible. No one answered the phones ever! When I checked in I was horrified at the state of the room. I know it’s an ibis so don’t expect much but it was beyond anything half decent. To pay $130 for the night is ridiculous, it’s more of an $80 per night place. I ended up leaving much earlier than I had wanted. Will never stay again and would never recommend.

Check in was poor due to the door being locked (electronic lock has not been adjusted for day light saving) Rooms are smelly and run down. breakfast was uneatable. Obvious we are not expecting 5-star service in a budget property but having stayed in several Ibis and Ibis budget this ws one of the poorest experiences so far.

The room was clean and comfortable. The bathroom will need to be deep cleaned as there is mold in the shower and that do not present well. We booked 2 rooms for my son and partner and their shower was the same, mold and smelling damp.

I’m sure I’m not the first to put up a review like this. How can these places remain viable. The design is obviously from the 90’s and maybe suitable to city areas where space is a premium. However in regional cities the cookie cutter building style where even the car parks are way undersized is terrible. Would be more comfortable showering at the local pool and sleeping in my car next time.
