« Good, but not great »

The location is very good - very central with good access from the nearby highway and close to the CBD as well as a number of eateries. The room was fairly much as expected; fairly tight in its dimensions but, as I was travelling alone, this was not an issue, even with an extra large bag of sporting clothes and equipment. My room was located at the western end of the building so there was no disturbance from the nearby highway nor from the adjacent hotel. Internal walls are not quite as soundproof. The biggest issue I had was with the bathroom. There was no hob to the shower (not itself a bad thing) but the water from the shower flooded all over the shower floor so there seemed to be an issue with the floor tile profile. Ultimately, I used a spare towel as a dam to stop water spreading so that I wasn't trudging through it all the time. Also, there was no toilet roll holder, just a the sign of where a holder had once been, and only a single, not-full roll of paper provided. Both of these were annoyances rather than major issues. Also, I was there for 5 nights and had to get my e-key re-set a couple of times when it wouldn't scan, which could be a potential problem late at night.

« enjoyed my stay »

Was simple to book, check in and check out. The room size and facilities was perfect for my stop over stay while travelling. Having the tv, kettle and fridge was perfect for my short stay and being so close to restaurants and Woolworths was very convenient.

« Budget Accommodation »

This is budget accommodation, so no hair dryer, tissues etc, room was comfortable and clean on arrival. There was a church across the road which held early morning Sunday services with bells ringing and there is a pub within walking distance. (jsut around the corner) We stayed for three nights in which you dont expect the sheets or towels that are hanging to be changed, however the bin was not emptied once and I needed to request additional toilet paper as there was none. I stayed in budget accommodation before and with better experience.

« Budget hotel »

Anyone planning to use this hotel MUST remember that it is an Australian Budget hotel! It was very clean, close to eateries, and quiet. The room was small - queen bed plus 1 metre space around the bed, and the ensuite was about the size of a cruise ship ensuite - all quite adequate for a short stay. No room for several big bags. Continental breakfast was edible and adequate Price was a bit high but it was New Year, and on the East Coast of Australia
