Our stay as always was pleasant. check in and out was effortless, staff were friendly and helpful, room was clean, and pool was a joy to swim in. I will continue to come to the ibis budget in Coffs Harbour in the future as it always provides me with a happy experience.

"Not what I Had expected"

I've stayed with Etap (another Accor Budget brand) accross Europe on many occasions and the cleanliness of Etap is very much a stand out feature. We expected Ibis Budget to be similar but the bathroom was not in the best condition. I wouldn't want to paint you a picture with this but I have one adjective... GrimyPositives would be the location and the very friendly staff. Room was small which I can live with as you only really use it to crash the night on your drive through. Not too sure about the hygiene or may be this is what you get when you pay $94 a night. Subtle lighting changes would go a long way in enhancing this hotel / motel. Definitely not going to be staying at an Ibis Budget again and will look for better Accor brands like Mercure.

"Perfect overnight stay"

The room was imalaculately clean. This was not luxury accommodation but the bed was comfortable and a pub nearby had food and drink at a reasonable cost: a perfect stopover in the crazy NSW ROAD SYSTEM !!!

"Pleasant surprise"

After seeying the price of the stay I did not expect much of the hotel and I was really pleasantly surprised by the experience. The room was very well designed for easy maintenance and therefore very clean. I found that the bed was a bit too hard for my liking other than that tops!!

The bathroom was too small but you have to keep the door shut when showering because it might set the alarm off and if that happens you get a $1000 fine. There is no hair shampoo supplied and no plug for the sink. The carpet in the bedroom had recent stains on it that had not been cleaned up.Other than that the hotel is in a good location at a good price and the service was good.

"An OK Stay"

Being a Formule 1 Hotel we were not expecting a lot so we were pleasantly surprised with the service we received at check in time. We were given lots of information as it was our first stay in Coffs Harbour. Unfortunately, the room itself left a little to be desired with some of the amenities.........like a bathmat in the bathroom but, due to the fact that there is no retaining edge around the shower, a bathmat would be pointless anyway but it was a bit scary using my hair dryer in a puddle of water and we couldn't dry our feet until we left the bathroom (I guess this is why they are replacing all the carpets in the hotel).

We were greeted in a friendly manner, shown the amenities which were excellent and when we went to the roomwe found it to be clean and tidy. We will certainly go back

"Convenient stopover"

Hotel was accessible, service was very good, just what we needed for a break from driving. Great suggestions for dinner were provided by the reception staff. Only downside, I booked 2 rooms on-line and booked what I thought was 1 x 3 singles and 1 x double +1 bunk. The second room ended up being a straight double. Room combination still slept 5 but I really wanted the extra bunk so the double didn't need to be shared. I'm a single mum travelling with 4 kids - their ages make our booking appear on-line as 4 adults and 1 child - which I guess the booking system took to be a family of 2 parents with 2 teenage children and 1 child?

"Great value for a safe and clean place to stay"

Good clean and friendly. Good place if you are passing through, although not the kind of place you would hang out in your room, it's just not that kind of hotel. Everything was clean and worked!Good value breakfast.

"Good but could be better"

Room was very clean.Staff very friendly.Bath room was not clean. Vinyl in the show on the walls were dirty and needed a good scrub. No bath mat was supplied only two towells, so care was needed to be taken when walking out of the bathroom.
