"Excellent quality for minimal cost"
14th January 2013, mama54771, Brisbane, Australia
Accomodation was clean. Manager was very pleasant. Television (flat screen) was better than Swisse Grande at Bondi (old analogue)! Access to other parts of Dubbo easy to access. Only problem was Dubbo itself where my husband and I were harrassed in main street by some teenagers!
"Ibis Budget Hotel Dubbo review"
11th January 2013, Karen123_13, Sydney, Australia
Very clean. Cleaning staff were a bit annoying, not checking first if we had checked out or not both days and wanting to enter the room. Bed extremely uncomfortable. Front desk staff helpful. If the bed was comfortable I would have thought it was reasonable value for money but not when you end up with a sore back.
"Needed a good clean"
20th December 2012, Gilgandra, Australia
Very basic room which is what was expected for price however it could have been clean especially the carpet. Felt like it was glamping not a motel stay. No fridge or iron. Car park open in a risky area.
"Top value"

I occasionally travel to Dubbo alone on business. All I need is clean quiet room with a late check-in. This Hotel represents superb value as it ticks all the boxes. The rooms are clean, the beds comfortable and the rooms are quiet thanks to their double glazed windows. It is also a great location if you do have time to wander down to the many restaurants!
"Not happy with the accomodation"
5th October 2012, ddehnen, Cairns, Australia
I will not stay there again. Both myself and my wife found it to be more like a back packers accomodation and nowhere near what we were expecting.Rooms cramped,shower/toilet area everything became wet when shower used.No fridge or tea making facilities in room everything communial. If we knew this before booking we certainly would not have booked.
"Breaking the journey"

Dubbo, situated halfway between Melbourne and Brisbane, is an ideal overnight stop. The F1 hotel is situated on the main drag so easy to find. With restraunts and petrol stations very close by, it offers convenience for late arrivals and a quick early morning getaway. On my numerous visits over the years I have noticed that the carpets cleanliness leave alot to be desired. The bathroom towels seem to be very scratchy and shrinking (perhaps that is just me) and there is poor TV reception in each of the rooms I have stayed in.

Will be good when breakfast kitchen is up and running. Was a pleasant stay except for noisy guests. The new manager was very helpful.

"Could do with TLC"
15th January 2012, cannon Hill qld
Having stayed in other Formule1 this was in need of a good clean a real good clean was real dirty especially in the share eating quarters the bin was full all day it was almost like a game balancing rubbish the communal fridge was (no words allowed) bad. Shower floors in bathroom very slippery and the bed cover was stained. To compare this hotel with another in the same chain you would think that they were two different levels of service. We paid for a clean budget hotel and we got squaller.
"Poor behaviour of other guests"
20th October 2011, Bendigo, Australia
We stayed in the motel Friday night and unfortunately there was a number of unruly guests who were drunk and yelling in the hallways. They were also running up and down the hallways and banging on doors til late in the morning.
"Snug & Cosy"
8th September 2011, Sydney
There is an old maxim that says 'you get what you pay for'. For what you pay to stay here you get a place to sleep for the night at a reasonble cost. The room was neat and tidy but very small - you wouldn't want to take a large amount of luggage. It would not be suited for a stay of more than 1 or 2 days unless you are by yourself. The management was friendly and helpful. Everything is designed around minimum space and effeciency. Fortunately we had a ground floor room - there are no lifts/elevators for the first and second floors. The hotel is very convenient for Taronga Western Plains Zoo which is only about 5 minutes drive away.
