"No parking"

Good points: the hotel is not too far from the city centre and was clean, though basic. Probably the huge shower cubicle with a powerful shower spray is the best bit.Negative points: it looks out on some rather run down buildings and is on a busy crossroads. My first floor room overlooked this and suffered from traffic noise and sirens from emergency vehicles at regular intervals. The window did not open - for security reasons - and the air cooling unit did not work except on the hot setting. There was no bin in the room but when I mentioned this one was found for me. The worst part was there is no on site car park and the hotel website does not give any clues about the nearest or best place to park. I ended up having to switch car parks to one further away (Princess Quays shopping/cinema complex) when the nearest car park did not facilitate overnight parking. Thus having a 5 min walk with my suitcase to the hotel. You also need to mention to reception that you are staying at that car park otherwise you will end up paying £12 for the parking instead of £5 with a voucher from the Ibis.In summary, I would not choose this hotel again based on its location and parking situation.

"Not the best you'll find"
18th February 2013, gdata, Bristol, United Kingdom
Staff were freindly and courtious however there is only one lif and the lift was not working so carrying baggage up the stairs was definately out of the question.A very disappointing and over priced stay

"Ibis Hull"
16th February 2013, JPattison, Inverbervie
Hotel is centrally situated and offers excellent value for money. It is ideally suited for dis-abled persons. Cafeteria/bar offers wide and varied choice of meals, snacks and drinks at reasonable prices. My only problem was that the TV in room was showing local London news rather than local Hull news on BBc1.

Reception was very helpful. The room was very well designed nice and warm, with a lovely hot powerful shower and the bed was king size and very comfortable. Tea and coffee facilities available and a good reception on the telly. Breakfast was at an extra cost, i did not have time to book this so unable to comment. My one night stay at the Ibis was grand. Will definetly book again when i return to Hull in the summer.

"good value"
2nd January 2013, holgate30, brough
i stayed here with my partner and for the money you cant go wrong. It was a last minute thing and when we arrived. The staff where friendly. I asked about parking and they told me because it was quiet i could use their car park that evening which was helpful. I would go back and for location for the town it was ideal

"Good price and nice location"
3rd December 2012, huangchi829
I booked it through IBIS official website. They offer very good deal of the room rate. It is very close to train station. There are many shopping area around. many choice for the food.Front desk is very slow. When I checked in, no one in front of desk and wait for more than 15 minutes. The service is very bad. Not help.

"Welcoming and great value for money!"
19th November 2012, MarcusBEssex, Southend-on-Sea
With a work trip taking me all over the Country over the space of a week, I was looking for Hotels that would be good value for money, whilst maintaining a reasonable level of comfort. The ibis hotel in Hull provided exactly what I was looking for, with a clean, well presented, no nonsense room. In addition, the staff were absolutely first class and were thoroughly helpful, giving advice on where was good to go out during the evening, and answering any questions I had, and generally going above and beyond the service I would have expected. As a result, I would be happy to book in at this ibis hotel in the future.

"a good stay"
7th November 2012, adj303, London, United Kingdom
My girlfriend and I have stayed here a few times and will do again. For the price and location, you can't beat the ibis. The rooms are always clean and comfortable and I have always found the staff to be very pleasant with a good sense of humour. A great place to start your weekend away.

"Wonderful on a budget"
12th September 2012, Tinga73, Ipswich, United Kingdom
The hotel is fine for an overnight or short stay. If booked in advance the prices are even cheaper and it is a very central location for those who need access to the city centre. Car parking is not on site which may put some people off but its not to far away, or the onstreet parking nearby is fine between 6pm and 10am.Don't be put off by the low price, it really is worth the savings.

"The Ibis Hull"
19th August 2012, Nat9108, Newport, United Kingdom
We travelled to Hull on the train and the location of this hotel was perfect - Only a 5 minute walk from the train station. The staff were helpful and the rooms were clean (although we werent able to close our bathroom door!) we were offered an alternative room, but it was upstairs where there was a rather noisy stag party, so we opted to stay put.We would definately stay there again.

"Value for money"

Value for money hotel. Had a room that fronted the main road and was awoken by an ambulance early hours but that happens everywhere.Breakfast didn't look the best so gave it a miss.Would stay next time I'm in Hull.

"Good location but noisy"
23rd May 2012, Kirkcaldy
We have stayed here a few times as it is handy for the ice rink (Hull Arena). Rooms to the street are extremely noisy on weekend nights. Rooms to the back are generally quieter. There was a bit of disturbance in the hotel this time unforyunately. Good for a stop over but not always guaranteed a full night's sleep.

"We do not recommend this at all"
21st May 2012, RKhamb, London, United Kingdom
The price is not much different to Permier Inn - Yet this place was like going into Council estate. Filthy, smoke smell. They have no parking and can only park on double yellow lines outside to drop the luggage for 5 mins. So in 5 mins you have to check in, get your luggage out, go up to your room and drop your luggage and back downstairs and to your car! Then add £5.00 for parking about 10 min walk away into the shopping centre car park. Shocking place.
