"Good for Business stay"

Hotel is connected to MXP via an airport shuttle. The shuttle departs from T1 where all other busses depart. Check-in was quick, preferences from the reservation were satisfied (non-smoking, away from lifts), WiFi codes handed out and return shuttle for the next day arranged.My room (executive suite) was on the third floor. Enough space, bed perfect. Drawbacks are the swing doors to the bathroom (does not close completly), slow WiFi service and clicking sounds from energy saving lamps. Pros are a plug right next to the bed, windows can be opended and wardrobe high enough to hang trousers in full length.

We chose to stay at the hotel for 1 night as we were transferring in Milan and our flight was on the next day. There was a free shuttle to and from the airport. We arrived at 10pm so the check-in counter was unattended at first. The room and bathroom was clean, but the shower-head was loose and the water was seeping out. Breakfast was average.

"NEVER MORE GOURMET PACKET !!! It's a bad half board."

Typical average hotel near the airport. There is possible to sleep evening and fly morning.We had ordered a gourmet package. The restaurant attracted us to the local cuisine. It was a great disappointment. Lentil soup, dried slice of meat with fries and half frozen tiramisu. Another selection was not possible. Moreover, the restaurant staff was horrible and not friendly. I visited many hotel NOVOTEL, but this was absolutely the worst.

This hotel was comfortable and very good value especially when considering that breakfast was included in the price. We were very glad to be able to use the hotel free shuttle to take us to the airport. One negative was that water came out under the shower door and created a pool of water. I suggest the hotel looks at how the shower door is sealed.The only other issue we had was with the GPS address for this hotel. We had hired a car and driver who had driven us from Rome and the GPS took us to another Novotel hotel, even though the correct address had been entered in to the Tom Tom. The receptionist at the hotel mentioned that this had been an ongoing problem. She came out to the car and entered a different address in to the GPS and we then had no problem finding the Novotel Milan Malpensa. However it was another 56km drive to get there. Fortunately for us we had to pass the first hotel anyway, but it did mean an extra hour of driving that we weren't expecting. We would not have been happy if we had come from a different direction and had to drive another hour back the way we had already travelled.Novotel appear to be aware of the problem and need to contact the company that provide data for the GPS systems to ensure that the GPS will take their guests to the correct address. We were very grateful for the assistance provided by the receptionist at the first Novotel hotel.

The room was spacious for a couple, but a bit tight with a child. Lovely big bathroom complete with bath tub and separate shower. Breakfast was continental breakfast with some hot food (scrambled eggs, sausages and bacon). Free shuttle to/from Malpensa airport every 30 minutes. 15 minute ride to Terminal 1. Great outdoor pool for use in warmer weather. Good for overnight stay.

The room was clean and small not enough for 4 people. The soap and coffee was not supplied in our room, the cleaner forgot to replace it. The breakfast in the morning was sufficient, it had variety of selection, cereal, breads, cakes ect. Novotel is not at the Airport a free shuttle bus can be taken.

If you arrive at Milan airport, phone hotel and they will arrange a minibus to collect you. A great shuttle service from the hotel back to airport. Staff very professional. The rooms are very quiet for a good night's sleep and spotlessly clean.

Nice hotel but expensive compared with what you get. Fortunately I had Accor coupons or I'd have been bothered by that.

visited this hotel 2nd time. last year, same period, the room accomodation was lot better. now - room 101 - was spacious but missed the quality finishing of a 4 star hotel. Last years room was much better. bathroom was absolutely poor and missed the minimum quality standards of 4* rating. shower hoze too short and no holder on the wall to use it properly as a shower. wall tiles were cracked etc. It seemed as if this room was more suited for disabled people, since also around the bath a special bar was mounted and no fixings on hights above 1 meter where present. E.g. towel holders on the walls were missing (altough some holes where still present in the walls...). All the rest of the hotels facilities were equal to last year and no comments on that. Wifi is free, however the system that is used for this, with 3 hours usage by key code cards available at reception, do not offer the comfort to actually use the wifi on smartphone very easy. (always new code to enter, need new card at reception desk for that.)But, with other room (like last years') this hotel is offering good service, very friendly and helpfull. The free shuttle to malpensa airport is also convenient.

Great stay. A great hotel a short distance from thhe airport. The bus transfer service is free and frequent. You have to book though.This is the 4th time we have stayed here - highly recommendedThe food and service in the restaurant is great.

This is a very modern hotel, located near the Malpensa Airport, but quite away from Milan. Very nice location, nice people, wonderful half board option- you get a dinner and wine for drink- very recommended in such remote location. I was on my way to Switzerland, so it was convenient to avoid Milan traffic, close to the border. I stayed there twice before and always very good memories.

fantastic, very new and clean, the only hotel we stayed in europe with tea making facilities. staff helpful and friendly. very good transport to the airport, free as well. when going to the airport it pay to book the bus in advance.

I like staying here because its close to Malpensa and has easy access. They don't have a really good restaurant and the fitness center is not that good. They do have a pool but I did not try it. There is a really cool place to eat about a 5 minute walk called Nel Buco del Mulo.

"Confused Staff"

I frequently stay at Novotel's, they are generally very good, but the directions to find this one was not good, and the reception staff didn't have a clue.When we checked in, it was clear someone else with the same surname had been checked into our room, and that caused a problem, even more so next morning at check-out, because we had pre-paid, and this person had been given our booking, so had a FREE stay.It was clear that the staff had NOT checked passports for registration, and had just given our booking to someone else. NOT GOOD.This was also one of the most expensive ones I had stayed at. Room was okay, and bed very comfortable - excellent night's sleep.

We booked the gastronomy package which included a 3 course evening meal for 2 adults. When we sat down we were told that we were having a pasta starter but the waiter didn't know whar was for maincourse or dessert as the chef hadn't decided yet. The main course was a disappointment consisting of a slice of poor quality beef, chips and a chunk of lemon. We were not asked how we preferred the meat cooked or indeed if we ate meat. The dessert consisted of a slice of pie. We were very dissapointed with the meal, definite felt like we were served leftovers.

Its a nice hotel to stay if you need to fly early in the morning. Comfortable, clean, good food and at amazing price and it has shuttle free service to the airport. Its 10 minutes far from it and it has internet free service.
