"Hotel fine but no air-con."

All good with location and service. Receptionist was very pleasant and spoke reasonable english. Room to usual Ibis standard, but why oh why does the aircon never work........? It was so hot in there.

The hotel was nice in a good part of valencia within walking distance of a nice commercial centre. The car park was secure. The rooms where nice and clean and the temperature and comfort was perfect to help me get a good night sleep. The only problem was when I booked this hotel I specifically booked accor because normally when I stay in france they offer free wifi on the Ibis web site it said wifi available that I assumed would be free but it wasn't the quality was good but if your expecting free wifi you wont get it.

I've stayed in a few Ibis hotels around Europe and it's a formula that works. It's cheap, it's clean and there is somewhere to park the car.However I had two problems on this occasion. On the second night the internet died about an hour after I got into the room. The staffs attitude was that it happened all the time and there was nothing that could be done until the morning, oh and I couldn't get my money back.The second problem was at check-out. My bill was converted from Euro to GBP after I had entered my pin number for a euro amount. The automated use of dynamic currency conversion is now against both Visa and Mastercard rules as it's a plain and simple ripoff. I had to make the staff refund the first transaction and then reprocess it in Euro.. Don't fall for this scam.
