Mercure Gdansk Posejdon (ex Orbis Posejdon): 4.0 out of 5 stars "Baltic fresh breath"

9th September 2013, Andy568, Warsaw, Poland

I traveled to Gdansk by train. Due to rainy weather I went to taxi stop near a station Gdansk Oliwa, however it was no taxi there that afternoon. But after a few minutes taxi was available and then I reached your hotel. The reception service was good and soon I got my room. After short rest I took my lunch at the hotel restaurant. As always I ordered my meal using water service but not a so called Swedish table. After lunch I traveled by taxi to Sopot to visit a Art gallery, where a fantastic exhibition of Polish painting from Lvov, Ukraine, is still open. After my visit to gallery the weather changed dramatically and sunny hours returned.I could say that my stay in hotel Posejdon has been full of attractions outbound and quiet time inbound.Andrzej Gdula

Mercure Gdansk Posejdon (ex Orbis Posejdon): 3.0 out of 5 stars "competitive price compared to the other hotels in this region"

8th September 2013, pritamsen, Munich, Germany

good location, average rooms, breakfast was reasonable.. dinner was not good and is not recommended, my room was not done properly on 2nd and 3rd night... hotel staff was friendly... swimming pool and spa experience was good!!bathroom hygiene is questionable!!. Overall hotel had competitive price compared to the other hotels in this region which lure me too!!!

Mercure Gdansk Posejdon (ex Orbis Posejdon): 3.0 out of 5 stars "Good value"

3rd September 2013, JJCski, Warsaw, Poland

Small hotel with park-like surroundings and within walking distance to the sea. Enough speed Internet and good morning coffee. Close to both: Gdansk and Sopot city centers. Spartan rooms but comfortable beds. The main problem I see – the bathroom: shower curtains do not works doesn’t matter what. Overall: good +
