"A really excellent hotel"

I visit Warszawa regularly, and have made this my hotel of choice for some time. Extremely comfortable and modern rooms feature (for example) up to the minute Hansgrohe Raindance showers - although that maybe a problem if you are still a "bath" person - and the hotel has friendly and efficient staff. I think the breakfast buffet is one of the best in Europe - never mind just Poland. I should say that this hotel is terrible - then you won't stay - and I'll always be able to get in ! But that wouldn't be true - this is a great hotel - and they deserve your business...

I have stayed in Grand Hotel several times and every time I am suprised by the higher standards of service provided by them. I can only strongly recommend the hotel, not only because the perfect location in city but as well for the comfort of rooms and good atmosphere and excellent food.

Excellent value for money and convenient location. The restaurant is actually quite good and they have some quality wines. The only thing to improve in this hotel is the Wifi reception in the rooms.

This hotel has a very good location in the center of the city. The rooms are small but clean. Breacfast is a bit pricy espesially for Poland where you van find a lot of cafes that serve breakfast twice as cheaper. Good Wi-Fi connection, very helpful staff. I would definately recommend this hotel for business and leisure.

All ok, except for the fact that the shower spouted brown water & dirt for the first few seconds... Old piping?For the rest a very comfortable, modern hotel with good & friendly service staff at acceptable rates (: on-line, not the ridiculous rack rates advertised at the check-in desks of course!).

beatyfull hotel with excellent interior. Design of corridors - very modern. Clean in all areas. Very good choice of whiskey (even Japanese). Breakfast - very good. People - vey friendly. For few days stay at Warsaw - perfect

Travelled to Poland for a wedding, and stopped over in The Mercure Grand. Great hotel, great location. Near to city centre. Good access for all amenities.Spotlessly clean and very quiet.Superb hotel

excellent hotel, staff very class and efficient. very nice building, like former communist administration block reconverted in beautiful hotel. Very design lobby, rooms, corridors...perfect location for historic centre and modern shopping gallery, prize dead cheap for this level

Just entering the hotel, you have a feelling that it is the right place for short break. Everyone from the service is making all that the stay is relaxing, starting from the checkin procedure, advicing about places to visit and great service in the restaurant.

"A hidden gem"

Modern minimalist styling and facilities. Excellently executed however. The breakfast buffet is awesome! Just stayed at the Delta in Charlottetown, PEI, Canada, where the buffet was shamefully inadequate in comparison. Would definitely recomend the Mercure /Orbis chain.

Stayed there on 24th Jan. Great location. It is just walking distance from the heart of Warsaw. Safe neighborhood. Lots of shops and restaurants bear bye. Grand decor. The building looks great from outside - almost a landmark building in Warsaw. Nice modern rooms. Very Clean. Only problem was that after I came to room in the night I realized that it was very cold - it was -10C outside. Turned heating to the max. Waited for an hour or so. Called Housekeeping - they said they have no technician. Asked them to send someone just to see that I had the right setting on the thermostat. Guy came and tried. Nothing wrong with setting. By this time, it was midnight. Front desk called and said that they will offer another room. I didn't want shift at that point in the night. Put on extra blankets and slept. Well, this can happen in any hotel. They did offer an alternate room and it was I who refused to shift. But the bad part was when I reported to the lady at front desk at time of checkout just to make sure they fix this at least for the next guest . She was giving this attitude and giving me a speech on how to operate their advanced thermostat system, importance of waiting for room to heat up, etc. That was uncalled for.
