Novotel Szczecin Centrum: 4.0 out of 5 stars "Novotel Szczecin (Stettin)"

11th April 2012, Hamburg, Germany

Stayed at the Novotel Szczecin in April 2012. I was impressed with this Novotel considering the surroundings which are not well developed. The location was ideal to walk to the nearby tourist locations and shopping, and the atmosphere at the hotel was very good. This is a nice renovated hotel, with very good rooms and a nice friendly staff. The Hotel bar is nice, but not very energetic. The parking underground gave me confidence in the safety of my car, and the staff was very quick to make recommendations for touristic activites.

Novotel Szczecin Centrum: 3.0 out of 5 stars "No more than satisfactory..."

9th January 2012, Warsaw

Room facilities were quite outdated and therefore price/quality relationship was not superior. There was a strange smell from air conditioning system. Nonetheless, the staff was kind and I really enjoyed the breakfast.

Novotel Szczecin Centrum: 5.0 out of 5 stars "Wonderful stay"

5th January 2012, Copenhagen, Denmark

Nice hotel with good location close to restaurants, sights and shopping. Walking distance to railway station as well. Good bar for a beeror coffee and a restaurant with both Polish and international choice. Nice sauna/pool/jacuzzi area suitable for kids also.

Novotel Szczecin Centrum: 3.0 out of 5 stars "Not quite the usual Novotel standard"

14th August 2011, pekkis234, Espoo, Finland

When we first arrived we were given a room where someone had vomited and the smell was still there in spite of heavy use of air freshener spray.A new room was given to us immediately and it was much more fresh, even though all the rooms seem to be in need of new carpets. Swimming pool was nice addition and breakfast ws also good. All in all, it was not bad for the price but after having stayed in several Novotels around the world, I would say this was the worst so far.

Novotel Szczecin Centrum: 1.0 out of 5 stars "A dissapointment"

11th August 2011, Newak-on-Trent, UK

Unfortunately our stay at Novotel Szczecin fall far short of our expectations. The hotel was rather run-down. The room we initially got was so dirty we had to request a new one and that was just barely acceptable. Bed linen and towels were not fresh, the room smell and the general hotel cleanliness left much to be desired. The hotel staff was correct but not friendly.

Novotel Szczecin Centrum: 4.0 out of 5 stars "xxx"

20th February 2011, Prague

with the exception of insufficient noise insulation(I stayed in street view room) everything else was OK

Novotel Szczecin Centrum: 3.0 out of 5 stars "Usual major chain with added advantage of friendly staff (mostly)."

8th December 2010, Leicester

Hotel overall was good, rooms very clean and comfortable. Quiet unless you happen to get a room near the lift, then you get the constant wiring of motors, cables etc. every time the lift moves and clunks every time it stops.Restaurant food is good but choice limited (especially if you staying for a week or more, after which you'll have to start repeating) and I wish they would change the menu from time to time - I've been coming on and off for about a year and the menu hasn't changed once :-(.Breakfast overall is good, wide choice, but cooked breakfast gets cold (even inside the "hot" plates) and so gets spoilt. Also, scrambled egg is too runny - please teach the chef to do proper scrambled egg, or do fried eggs instead.

Novotel Szczecin Centrum: 4.0 out of 5 stars "A good city centre hotel near the railway station"

15th November 2010, Boston, England

I was immediately impressed by the reception staff who spoke excellent English. My room was large, clean and comfortable but the atmosphere was a little stale. I overcame this by opening the window but revellers in the street outside during the small hours woke me up and I had to close it again. The bathroom was well-equipped and modern. Dinner in the restaurant was excellent - the waitresses were pleasant and spoke good English, but service was a little slow. There was a good range of hot and cold dishes at breakfast but the staff had some difficulty keeping pace with customer demand at a busy time - for example there was no coffee available for quite a few minutes and when it arrived there was a mad rush. There was a short delay at check-out caused by another guest seeking complicated information about various matters. I think the receptionist should have called for assistance to avoid a queue building up. Fortunately, I had allowed sufficient time to reach the station but someone in a hurry could have been in trouble.
