"A really nice hotel just outside of the center of Lisbon"

Mercure Lisboa on av. José Malhoa is located outside the Lisbon center, but very easily accessible via metro. If you want to walk to the downtown center, it's a one hour walk. We did it, no problems with that. Service and value-for-money for this hotel are really fine.

very clean, modern, comfortable rooms, the location is excellent - only a few blocks from the bus and train stations, and a 10 minute taxi ride to the airport. The only minor negative - the coffee pods for the expresso machines are of poor quality and the coffee tasted terrible. Other than that - highly recommend!!

it is a good hotel in the complex, clean and with an excellent relation between price and service. but if you want some extras, for exemple breakfast (11 euros per person per day), minibar (1,50 euro per 33 cl of water) or laundry (6 euros for a pair of trousers, 4,50 for a shirt) you have to pay a lot.wifi in the room was ok but the connection was slow and sometimes there wereinterruptions.finally: no gluten free products provided! what a pity.

overall hotel was good. breakfast was good with friendly staff, some front desk staff not so friendly. was told to hire a cab to follow it to the hotel keep in mind had a rental car, most ridiculous thing i ever heard off. beds need to be more comfortable.

The Mecure Hotel in Lisbon exceeded my expectations. The staff were very courteous & helpful at all times and requests were attended to immediately. Although not right in the City Centre the metro is nearby and is fast and efficient. The room I stayed in was spotless and in good condition and in a quiet part of the hotel. A huge plus was the rooftop swimming pool which was a luxury to cool of & unwind in after a day of touring. I highly recommend this hotel and would stay here again if in Lisbon.

Thoroughly recommend this hotel. It is a little way out of the main city area but situated close to a Metro station and also on the route of the Yellow Bus (which we used and found to be a brilliant way to see the highlights of Lisbon). Rooms are very good, staff helpful and welcoming, excellent buffet breakfast available. We would certainly stay here again if ever we return to Lisbon.

The hotel is near the metro station about 5 mins walking. It takes about 20 mins to the downtown area. Staffs are friendly and willing to provide useful info such as restaurants recommendation, places to visit and things to do. I would stay there again.

I can certainly recommend this hotel. A correct balance quality / price. The Metro (Jardim Zoologico) is nearby but the directions are to be clarified on the hotel`s website. Be advised that the number of restaurants in the neighboorhood is rather limited.

Well located for visiting Lisbon, Metro nearby and tour buses stop across road. The one negative was that rooms too hot and only way of cooling it down was to open window and then had traffic noise. Reception staff very helpful and pleasant.

The Mercure Lisboa is very well located and tourist busses stop directly opposite the front of the hotel. Staff just can't be faulted and don't need to be asked they almost anticipate! The rooms are immaculely clean and service excellent. One criticism is the total lack of tea making facilities either in room or within the hotel at all! Breakfast is adequate although the staff are obviously under pressure the hot items (limited) being only just warm! Dinner menu was also very limited and the meal needs to be much better presented.

Very nice and friendly staff, well located, and not expensive.Nice large rooms. Small space for Bar and Restaurant.Near the Subway and plenty of taxis around. Near the Zoo, The GulbenkianMuseum, The Corte Ingles store, and lots of popular restaurants, including a very nice one called The Gondola.

Very good quality for the good price. More for business people and city breaks. Well connected. On the top swimming pool with a nice view to the aqueduct. Breakfast a little too poor. Free WI-FI. Underground parking with extra charge. Paid parking zone (green zone/ zona verde).

The overall cleanliness and service in this Hotel was very good, it was just a little way out of the centre of the city but was grouped in close proximity with the Novotel and Ibis Hotels.All in all our stay was quite enjoyable except of the dinner on Sunday night. The food was cold and appeared to have been laid out for a long time and there appreared to be no warmer of anything else to maintain the heat in the food. . The wine that was offered as part of the meal really needs to have someone have a look at. The White wine was undrinkable and the Red not much better. It put a whole damperner on the stay at this establishment.Apart from that small discrepancy, the stay was reasonably well received,
