Freshly renovated, clean, few stops from center, good breakfast!Only downside is expensive internet, it should be free!

Mercure Hotel Malmo (previously ibis Malmo): 4.0 out of 5 stars "hotel in malmo sweden"

29th March 2012, London, United Kingdom

very nice hotel but the floor in my was dirt and the room was a bit noise because of been next to lift staff were real nice

Mercure Hotel Malmo (previously ibis Malmo): 4.0 out of 5 stars "Good clean fun"

7th March 2012, Peterborough, United Kingdom

Nice hotel, well kept and good value. Considering there was building work going on it was quiet and clean and the only evidence was a slight smell of fresh paint as you walked round and the skips outside.Located within easy walk of a shopping mall, a supermarket and a nice lake and park for a walk. Bit of a walk into the centre of Malmo but wasnt there for the centre of Malmo so was't a problem.

Mercure Hotel Malmo (previously ibis Malmo): 4.0 out of 5 stars "IBIS Malmö"

10th February 2012, Leipzig

Come to the hotel at 10 o'clock at night after been out in central Malmö and eaten by two German guests ... We'd have a beer before we were to sleep but we were not served at the table but I had to pick up the order and write on your receipt at the bar ... staff, 3 guys stood the most and talked ... This reacted my guests over ...

Mercure Hotel Malmo (previously ibis Malmo): 3.0 out of 5 stars "Upside down"

1st February 2012, Forserum

The Hotel was in a syte of confusion due to renovation. Our room had just been finished so it was ok. But the noice from a drill in concrete walls on a saturday.... Well lets say that it was a bit distracting, to put it nice. Resturant and Bistro were also moved bequase of the work being done.

Mercure Hotel Malmo (previously ibis Malmo): 4.0 out of 5 stars "At the ninth floor for the first time."

25th January 2012, Nättraby

We always stay at IBIS Hotel when we are in Malmö. We have always been very satisfied. This time the room was renovated, but it was very cold when we came. When we took a shower the water flew out over the whole floor in the bathroom. The draining gutter was wrong-placed. Not so good!!!!We are coming back on Saturday for a new night at IBIS. I really hope, that we don´t have to walk in water in the bathroom this time, and that it will be a little warmer in the room when we arrive. Best wishes! Birgit and Egon Nilsson

Mercure Hotel Malmo (previously ibis Malmo): 3.0 out of 5 stars "Superior room with extra comfort? No,no....."

15th September 2011, Ostersund, Sweden

Since I booked early, I was supposed to get a superior room with large double bed for extra comfort. Wifi high speed internet, hot drinks, sweets, newspaper, 20" flat screen TV and bath mat are all included for extra comfort. All I got of all this was the TV - everything else was plain standard. So, if you expect to get a ´superior´room - be warned!

Mercure Hotel Malmo (previously ibis Malmo): 4.0 out of 5 stars "Comfortable hotel"

3rd September 2011, Cirencester, United Kingdom

The room was nice and a decent size for 3, modern and light. It got hot if we didn't leave the window open all the time, so then there was some traffic and weather noise. The bathroom was nicely fitted, subject to having an unfortunate design, with the 'wet room' principle - OK if the low point and drain are under the shower. In this case they were not, and the shower immediately flooded the floor and we had to wipe it every time (wiper supplied!) if we didn't want to paddle water round the bedroom. The location was fine, a short drive to the city centre where we found on-street parking fairly easily over the weekend. We ate out so have no comment on the restaurant etc. The check in was quick and brief, and the extra towels were there. Would have been nice to have free Wifi as many places do these days.

Mercure Hotel Malmo (previously ibis Malmo): 3.0 out of 5 stars "Ibis Hotel Malmo"

15th August 2011, Beneden Leeuwen

Location was good for us because we intended to travel further after one day and it was close to the highway. The room had a coffee maker but no cups or anything like that. The room was not that clean. Curtains couldn´t be closed totally.Quality less than I was used to from other Ibis Hotels

Mercure Hotel Malmo (previously ibis Malmo): 3.0 out of 5 stars "Cheap but no oxygen"

11th August 2011, Älmhult

You get what you pay for but, there were almost no oxygen to breath in the room. It was enough to step out of the elevator at the sixth floor and a warm and non ventilated air struck you. So the air in the rooms weren't any better. Then for the paid hotel parking lot at the roof there was a flooding of water the next morning so you had to go bare feet to reach the car.

Mercure Hotel Malmo (previously ibis Malmo): 4.0 out of 5 stars "Wedding trip"

11th August 2011, Sue_Ac_10, Towcester, United Kingdom

We were initially disappointed to be distant from the centre of Malmo, but the reception staff were brilliant at telling us how to get a bus card, and we had great fun going around on the bus system. Beware that there is no air conditioning in the rooms, and we had some warm and very humid nights.

Mercure Hotel Malmo (previously ibis Malmo): 4.0 out of 5 stars "Breakfast critic"

20th June 2011, stockholm

Unhappy to have powdered eggs for breakfast and not real eggs. I have stayed at other ibiss hotels and had real scrambled eggs so do not understand that this is not possible. The rooms are fine with enoughnspace to move around. Bed is also fine.

Mercure Hotel Malmo (previously ibis Malmo): 5.0 out of 5 stars "Overall a really good experince and good customer service by staff"

20th June 2011, copenhagen

Overall good customer service by staff, however seems like pc system didn't really work, they had to spend to much time at checking in and out. By returning to the hotel every Night it was a pleasure to enter a warmth welcoming staffs. The atmosphere on this hotel was relaxing. I work in the Cruise Industry on Holland America Cruiseline so this stay were satisfying especially for the rate.Toni Andersen

Mercure Hotel Malmo (previously ibis Malmo): 5.0 out of 5 stars "Ibis Hotel Malmo"

6th May 2011, Swinton

Very clean and tidy with well mannered staff and located 15 minutes walking time from city centre and train station.Double rooms are spacious with a large, comfortable bed and a good sized shower in the bathroomOnly very minor criticism was that the out of place, sloppily painted, wooden planked ceiling in the room looked a bit tatty next to the rest of the room, but it's only a slight aesthetic issue and suppose you only really see it when you're laying down.
