"Very helpful staff, great location"

A good hotel conveniently located close to junction 3 of the N118 (for stop-over or for accessing Paris centre) and to the Velizy 2 shopping centre (restaurants). Hotel clean and staff very accommodating. Plenty of secure parking. We will be staying here again!

2 adults 4 kids so we booked 2 suites for 3 nights. I was very happy with this choice, any problems were not because of the hotel. Free parking, Free movies (great for tired kids after sightseeing), free internet though not wireless, free breakfast for kids, very large suite style rooms, clean, quiet, comfy, separate bathroom with full size bath and separate shower cubicle, microwave, separate loo in own little cubicle, cant really ask for a lot more than that. Unless you want a pool this is the best hotel I've been in for the money. Problems - Second room cannot be booked with the 50% off offer advertised on the Accor website which is a criticism of Accor's website design that is frankly rubbish, if the website was uk based, trading standards would be involved. The 2nd room 50% off offer has to be negotiated with reception staff on arrival after you've booked at the higher rate. Not difficult but I dont mind being a forceful customer even when faced with a Gallic shrug. As at June 12 the bridge over the motorway was being rebuilt and so you cannot come off at the hotel junction, it is an 8km detour to do 200 yds and impossible without sat nav. Breakfast is busy before 9am. Staff are helpful and courteous. We had a roof box so had to park outside in the disabled spot as the underground car park height was too low. Versailles is 10 minutes through the forest by car, on a weekday Paris is an hour but thats because of traffic not the distance and the same would be true anywhere within 50km. Overall an excellent hotel who's best feature is the very large room space.

Great location for where I needed to be, bit on the expensive side for the location however. Clean hotel, rooms a good size (box is appropriate as the rooms are box shaped, with a "prefab" bathroom module loaded inside,One of my issue was I was unable to warm up my room at night (even with the thermostat set to 30c). Admittedly, it was during the March "warm" spell, so I suspect the hotel had swapped heating for aircon, but it still got quite nippy at night.This place loans you a smart car for up to 4 hours a day when you stay for 4 nights or more, so if you fancy taking on the Paris traffic, this is very useful. It's also useful for picking up bits and bobs from the Velizy2 shopping centre the other side of the motorway.Staff very friendly, Boutique Gourmande well stocked and a nice bar area.Looking forward to my next stay there in a week's time (hopefully my room will warm a little better, but this is a minor complaint)
"Good quality but overheated"

Arrived during a warm spell, and the air conditioning must have been turned off because is was muggy in the room no matter the temperature setting. Can't really open the window or you get the noise from the 86 outside. Shower on the higher floors fluctuates in temperature. Nevertheless, it's where I always stay and quality and value are good. I'm tired of the breakfast, though.

The hotel is really nice, clean and the room is really big compare to other Novotel and very comfortable room for family. You get also cookies, fruit candies, tea, hot chocolate and of course hot water. The bathroom is well decorated and very clean. The hotel is also located in the near of IKEA and Velizy 2 shopping mall. Everything are ok with this hotel, except the location is really difficult to find. We don't find it on the Navigation and use the Etap Hotel instead to find Novotel which is in the same location.

Road construction in the area makes the hotel somewhat difficult to find and access. TV remote control did not work. A couple of English TV channels would have been greatly appreciated. Those comments considered, the hotel was good value for money. Breakfast was well stocked and tended. Rooms and common areas clean and neat. The cupboard was well stocked and very convenient. No nearby restaurants was a bit of a problem.
