"Modern, clean hotel"

Ideally situated near to Berlin Spandau station the hotel is typical of the newer build Ibis hotels. Very clean with modern flat screen tv and excellent views towards Berlin city centre. Friendly staff made the stay enjoyable.

In one of the two rooms the AC did not work at all. The staff told me it was going to be better later. When we returned at night, it was still not working. Then the staff told me it was working even though it was 27+ degrees in the room. They did not offer any refund or change of room. The other room where my son and girlfriend stayed was fine. During this trip we stayed in 8 hotels in Germany, Switzerland and Check Republic, ALl other hotels were fine. And I have travelled in all continents over 40+ years, and this was probably one the worst staff and service I've experienced.

We have been staying at this hotel for the last 5 years for the Christmas Markets. Great transport system of buses, train both S bann and underground and so easy to get in and out of the center of Berlin. Spandua market is great, Brau House great for beer and food. Hotel a good location with 2 minute walk from the station and next to a large and great shopping mall. Great place to stay.
