This hotel has an excellent staff who really go the extra mile for their guests. The only down side is the new roads in Bilbao. Make sure you follow the A8.

Hard to find unless you know it - satnav good only as far as commercial centre.Our second visit this October. Once again spoilt by dishes in restaurant unavailable. Also there was a peculkiar smell, rather like gas or damp in the corridor and our room when we arrived. This disappeared after a while.Otherwise clean and everything worked. On the whole we enjoyed our stay.

This hotel is ideally situated for access to the ferry, but is a little tricky to actually drive to even though it is just off the A8 motorway. Its an Ibis, so basic and clean and relatively comfortable. Service was good with all the usual amenities. A large shopping mall is just opposite for a spot of last minute shopping including an Eroski supermarket for stocking up on wine and beer if you want to. Straightforward access to Bilbao for your final vino and tapas before heading home.

Everything you could need in a hotel close to the Zierbena ferry port (15 mins - hotel A8 Junct 124, port junc 130). Evening meal was of a good standard, but very little offered for breakfast. Easy to find from directions given from website, with shopping and filling station next door.

Have stayed here several times. Usually good. Room really hot. Evening food service disappointing - I was eating alone and was "forgotten". Apologies were made and food was served quickly.......too quickly! My medium steak was very raw in parts! Bed however, comfortable, and position convenient for Ferry terminal. Staff very pleasant.

Only a one night stay but we were well looked after. Only problem was finding it. Could be closer to town,too. In future I will always use the Lat/Long to find a hotel - apparently address does not exist
