It should be advised to all clients who stay at all Ibis Hotels in Romania, to check at the arrival about the vouchers and reductions you can get during your stay. The People at the Front Desk are not always advised about the Extra Saver Package, the vouchers for reductions for the meals in the Restaurant during your stay : you have to find out yourself at your own request, and for each Hotel of Ibis, the conditions are different for each Hotel. Here is a big job to do for the General Management of Ibis Hotels Romania, to clear up this mess and set up the same condtions for each Ibis Hotel. Ex : Ibis Constanta : you get 15% off for meals in the restaurant durining your stay, but not on the drinks. ibis Bucharest Gara de Nord : you only get 20% reduction if you booked a Extra Saver Package. This need a general standard for all Ibis Hotels in Romania. About the botte of water wich is included in Extra Saver Package : you have to tell to Front Desk not to charge the bottle you used in the room. Due to this reason I only give "average" to Service. Besides the people are not to blame, the Management should try to find another matter as : you get the reductions any how, if you have used the meals in the restaurant, and they should be deducted on the final account when you leave. NEVER FORGET TO TIP THE PEOPLE OF THE RESTAURANT BY YOUR OWN INITIATIVE : 10% to 15%, just as a reward. Their salaries are very low.

This IBIS was a little diferent from what we are use to. First they have smoking and non-smoking rooms. They told as thar they only have smoking rooms. We demand a non-smoking room and by the end of the day we be abble to change. As a part of EU they should have adopt allready the policy of non-smoking rooms. For a short stay I recommend this hotel but in a non-smoking room. They don't do any kind of turist information, but they provide a map of the city. If you are a foreigner they asked you to fill a formulario by hand. Asked for electronic way, they can do it electonically.
