The hotel is in the middle of town, there were some roadworks making it a bit tricky to find. It is a convenient distance to make Calais in about six hours by peage.

We stayed for one night en route to the Alps.We like Ibis for this purpose as they are predictable, you know what to expect and they deliver. Pre-booked room rate was fantastic value for money.Rooms basic but clean and adequate.Restaurant was excellent, we enjoyed a fantastic dinner there and had great service. Breakfast was also very good in terms of choice, food quality and value.Staff were welcoming and friendly.TIP - if arriving in the dark approach slowly once in the vicinity of the hotel as the entrance to the car park is before the entrance to the hotel and it is easy to miss which is not great as the hotel is in the middle of a one-way system and you then have to go half way around the town again!!

This hotel represents great value for money and offers what anyone could be looking for during a short stay. Large and comfortable room, great breakfast buffet, affordable undeground car park, convenient location and most importantly, a very welcoming and helpful team. Free Wifi was also great. A place to remember

Ibis La City is a no-frills hotel good for short stays. Our room was quite big and quiet. The bathroom was small but adequate and I always appreciate a proper shower. The bed was too hard for my taste. Breakfast was a bit on the sweet side, no cooked items were available. Free and easy wifi in the rooms. Staff worked efficiently and with a smile. The location was good, as the old town was just a stroll away.
