Although this hotel is just outside central Hamburg the S-Bahn is a short walk away which doesn't take too long to get you into central Hamburg. The hotel itself is okay, the rooms were good and clean, the breakfast and bar served decent food and the staff are freindly, my only criticism of this hotel is that the corridors stink of cigarette smoke, but other than that its fine.

Clean rooms, helpful staff and a handy location between the airport and city centre. The hotel is two minutes' walk to the S-Bahn then 10 minutes into town. Very good value for the price we paid and a good option for exploring Hamburg.

Ideal for a short stay. Very convenient for the motorway. Would have been better if they had given the correct room in the first place but they changed rooms without a problem. One English TV channel would be appreciated

It was a nice stay and I'd come again, particularly for the friendly and helpful staff and good room. The breakfast was ok but I've had liked more fruit and a real muesli without chocolate chips. Good bread though, and coffee ok -- didn't try the meats and eggs. Great to have free wi-fi in bar area. The room was nice -- didn't much like the narrow jet on the shower, and constant worry it would overflow on the floor -- lip too shallow. I sleep with the window open which meant a lot of traffic noise. Finally, would have welcomed more English channels on tv, especially BBC News. Overall, good stay and the price good.

Overall - hotel was a typical IBIS hotel - good value for money. Location whilst not in the Centre of Hamburg, was right near train station with good links into central Hamburg. The problem was that hotel overbooked and I had to share with a friend when room was booked months ago. Would definately put me off staying at another IBIS again.

although the hotel is not totally central it is near to U-bahn and S-bahn with services every few minutes through 24 hour service.The rooms are clean and comfortable. wi-fi is only available in lobbies and foyer
