Novotel Düsseldorf City West (Seestern): 4.0 out of 5 stars "Novotel Dusseldorf Seestern"

1st April 2012, Bogota, Colombia

Fairs are all yer around in Dusseldorf, so is very difficult to find good deals, but plan in advance helps to at least have an hotel room in town.

Novotel Düsseldorf City West (Seestern): 5.0 out of 5 stars "Excellent"

13th July 2011, Heist-op-den-Berg

Clean and new Novotel in business district, but only 3 km from city centre. Just excellent! Rooms spacious, light and very nice decoration.Duesseldorf is a very pleasant, rich, modern, but at the same time traditional German city.Next time we will stay here again.

Novotel Düsseldorf City West (Seestern): 4.0 out of 5 stars "Perfectly decent in all respects but wildly overpriced"

11th June 2011, Edinburgh

I was in Dusseldorf for the Eurovision Song Contest and I stayed at the City West. The location was brilliant for a range of things - it's one tram (15-20 mins) from the city centre and the you get off a bit earlier to reach the cultural bit of Dusseldorf. It's set in the business district so surrounded by clean and impressively planned and maintained streets. The hotel is easy to reach, staff are fluent in English and very helpful. The beds were comfortable and the air conditioning worked well and quietly. I can't fault the hotel except the prices it charges. I perhaps shouldn't be surprised as its main market is business and it was, of course, Eurovision weekend when hotels can charge what they like. Left a bitter taste, sadly, but otherwise a throughly decent hotel.

Novotel Düsseldorf City West (Seestern): 3.0 out of 5 stars "Hotel Ok, Restaurant is terrible"

30th May 2011, Tsukuba

I am an experienced business and leisure traveler, for the last 30 years I have spend more than 60 nigths per year in different hotels over the world. For this hotel my revieuw:Location, if you have to go the next morning to the airpor than is the location very good, only 10 KM and the hotel also provide a shuttle service, if you want to go dow-town, than it is to far an not nice for a walk (business area). Th rooms are simple but modern, comfortable and clean with good beds, a coffee maker would be nice. The reception is manned with professional staff, fast and accurate. The restaurant is a different experience, first of all only three or four guests and three waiters which come on turn by our table. By ordering a nice wine, (St. Emilion of Euro 49,--) the waiter comes back after five minutes with the question what wine I would like to have under the remark that he was irritated that I ordered somthing which was not on the wine list. By showing him the only St. Emilion which was on the list, he made the remark ooo you mean the Chateau wine. The salad ordered with a Ceasar dressing came with oil and vinigar, after my remark, the comment was ...In this hotel a ceasar dressing is oil and vinigar, forks and knifes ok on the table, for the pasta after asking also a spoon delivered on the wrong side, for desert (crepes Suzette) was Cointrau aroma used and not Cointrau itself, in short a 120 Euro diner for which 20 Euro is still to much.In short, the hotel is OK, avoid the restaurant.

Novotel Düsseldorf City West (Seestern): 5.0 out of 5 stars "Great value, perfect service."

8th May 2011, Salem

Will come back for sure. Service was perfect, the shuttle exceptionally did not work, the hotel paid for a taxi. It is what is call service. I will recommend this hotel with pleasure. Room was very clean. The location is close to the airport. So perfect hotel to use for business.

Novotel Düsseldorf City West (Seestern): 5.0 out of 5 stars "Great stay!"

26th January 2011

Great value for money! Hotel is clean, with easy access and reasonably priced parking, rooms are typical modern Novotel design and brand new, breakfast was excellent with a large variety and most of all service and friendliness by the staff was unbeatable. As for the location, it’s ideal for someone wanting something fairly close to the city center but with easy car access and parking. Drive only takes around 10 min. max to the center.

Novotel Düsseldorf City West (Seestern): 4.0 out of 5 stars "No suprise"

15th November 2010, Nice

The hotel in Düsseldorf had no surprises, the standard was the same as all the group. From Monaco to Dubai throughout France and the rest of Europe they have a consistent standard of bedrooms restaurants and convenience of location. As a frequent business traveller I am very happy with this chain of hotels.
