"Stop over newcastle"

It meets the basic requirements, worst mattress in any motel I have stayed in in the last 10 or so years.Spend the extra 10 bucks and get a decent older motel, this one is in a pretty dodgy part of town and some questionable characters hanging around

"Good value for 1 night"

accommodation was clean, room a little small but good just for over night. Great spot close to everything we needed. Only downside was the buffet breakfast, food was cold on buffet and not replenished.Would stay here again and again but would go elsewhere for breakfast.

"Basic but good"

The bathroom is an installation not a room but apart from that basic and clean. Good for what we needed a place to sleep close to town, food and pubs. The staff were pleasant and helpful. Parking was handy too.

Rooms are a bit like the Spirit of Tasmania, but are clean, comfortable and great value for money. The location in Newcastle is fantastic with easy access to the business district, waterfront and eateries.

"Newcastle Stay"

The rooms are way too small and the bathroom is very pokey. I wasn't able to relax in the room as it was way too small. The girl at the reception was lovely and very helpful. The hotel was nice but I wouldn't stay there again due to the size of the room.

"Road trip stopover"

We needed somewhere to stay overnight on a road-trip. It was easy to find and offered secure parking (at extra cost). The rooms were small and fairly dated but OK. There were no meals in the bistro as they were changing menus (??), so we had dinner at the Novotel. I probably wouldn't have stayed there if we were staying longer than a night and were planning to look around. Overall it was fine for a budget hotel.

Over priced for what is a budget hotel.I stayed there on a free night from the A'Club.Bathrooms are bolt on and the air con quite loud.Normal rack rate in my opinion is shigh for what the room offersSuitable for a quick noghts sleep if your on the road and willing to pay for it

"Great night in Newcastle"

We were greeted in a friendly fashion at reception and were told that there was a new comfy pillow top bed in the room. The room was very clean and the bed was great. The bar service was also very good and we told reception staff upon booking out that our stay was great and also the new bed. Location is close to the bars and restaurants at Honeysuckle. A great experience in Newcastle.
