"WEEKEND RELAXATION"

In my recent visit to China I spent a weekend at this hotel, The rooms wer clean,very quiet and the staff were extremely friendly and helpful. The room service, concierge, restaurants staff were helpful in suggesting choices to make despite the difficulties of language. Centrally located it is accessible to most parts of interest in Wuhan with a short taxi ride.

"Concierge did not help with luggage!"

Got there in taxi, the concierge came open the door for me, but when I ask politely if he can help with my suitcase, he seems unhappy (it was a small carry on one); after I paid and got off the taxi I found my suitcase on the ground and the concierge already walked away, first time ever!Most of time if there's someone open the door, they would take the suitcase, and they would at least take it into the lobby, been to so many places this was the first time concierge left my suitcase on the ground at the bottom of the stairs. Writing all this because I was so surprised and shocked.And I couldn't help wondering if the concierge knew I've always had tips ready, would he regret.... hahaOther than this everything else was quite ordinary

"Dispponted for a Novotel brand"

It is an old hotel in the old part of hankow, next to old residential area with small shops. The neighbourhodd is rather dirty. Although renovated, the hotel does not give you the new feeling. The staff at check-in/out, as well as those in house-keeping were very attentive and helpful. Those in the restaurants need to be more pro-active, especially those serving behind the counters.

"The facility is too old"

First of all, the facility is too old, and some of them is not working very well. Second, the naming of the hotel ENglish name is "Novotel Wuhan Xinhua". However, it doesn't show "Novotel" in its Chinese name. Therefore, some of the Taxi drivers don't know which hotel that we are talking about.

"Generally good"

Generally the hotel is good, but just wonder why I only get 15% off from the cost of my dinner at Chinese Restaurant of Novetel Wuhan Xinhua. As I remember, I can get 25% off.Regarding location, the hotel is in good location. It besides Xinshijie World Trade Center. But the main gate of the hotel is not in main stree, it is in a small lane. It is hard to get taxi sometimes. Especially, you have to consider how to get taxi to the airport with luggage at peak time. For me, I asked a taxi driver who drove me back to the hotel from business to pick me up to the airport half days in avance.

"OMG! Extra Toilet paper cost RMB 5!!!! in this hotel"

When I call the room service and ask for one more toilet paper, they ask me to paid $5 in cash to get this extra paper!! poor service!!!
