"Another Ibis to recommend"
29th July 2012, TheCharenteJayes, The Charente
It took us two hours to find this hotel - even our SATNAV was lost! However, when we phoned to say we couldn't find the hotel, Louis from Reception came out to find us. When we eventually arrived at the Hotel it was all worth it because I would say it is one of the best Ibis Hotels we have stayed in! The staff were absolutely marvellous, nothing too much trouble. Lovely comfortable bed, nas they always are in the Ibis, and we had a good night's sleep after our long journey from France by car.The restaurant was good and the food was excellent.Should add that we spoke to someone else who mentioned to us that he had had trouble finding the hotel also. Perhaps some better signage is required. However, nothing would stop us from recommending the hotel, or returning there for another stay,
"ONE STAY AT IBIS NEAR MADRID"
5th July 2012, Southampton, UK
Stayed for one night as we were travelling onto Magala. All Ibis rooms are basically the same in design. A/C was inefficient. It is sufficient for a one night stay but I would not want to stay there any longer. This hotel is on the outskirts of Madrid but, even with a TomTom we had terribly trouble finding the hotel. There is a restaurant onsite but expensive. Across the road is a McDonald and a Burger King. Breakfast is typically contintental - cold meats, cheese, cereals, donuts etc. The one bonus about this hotel is there a secure, free car park. The hotel is located behind a petrol station and you have to be "buzzed" in and the gates are opened.
"Hard to Find Jewel"
20th October 2011, Orange, California, USA
We went around the shopping center three times before we finally called the front desk and asked the host how are we supposed to get to the hotel through the closed gate with the instructions written only in Spanish? The answer was simple enough, the hotel and their staff are wonderful. We wish to extend our special thanks to Javier and Luis. Hope to see them again some day.
